Fantastic photo shoot. The armor was awesome to see displayed on the wall. Fitter was an awesome hype man and did an awesome job fitting the armor to a bigger fella. The photographer did also an awesome job of taking awesome photos as well.

Samurai fans—this is the one for you! Be a Samurai warrior for an hour on this unique Samurai Armor Photo Studio experience. You won’t have to bring anything with you as all Samurai armor is provided. Choose your favorite color and style of armor and helmet, then get ready for a professional photo shoot with props, such as swords or spears. You’ll learn fascinating insights about Samurai, and after the shoot, you’ll receive a Samurai license, a t-shirt, and an SD card with copies of your photos.

    Takemura comes from a line of samurai and has extensive knowledge of the history of the warrior. An amazing hype man A good guy And just wants you to have fun and feel confident when shooting If you have the time and want a memorable experience and a one of a kind souvenir you can look back fondly and proudly of this is for sure the activity to do. Too many cool options to chose from honestly Wish I could have tried all the sets on

    This was an awesome experience! From the moment we walked in the door Takemura made us feel welcome and at home. We got to learn about the different armor sets and he explained each piece as he helped us put them on. The photoshoot was a lot of fun and Takemuras energy is infectious! This is our fourth trip to Japan and this has now ranked high on one of our favorite activities we have done!

    Shimpei Takemura is the best. He lights up the atmosphere with his spirit and kindness. I was overwhelmed by the history of each samauri that were displayed. Shimpei is the best.

    Best Japanese experience! The armor is amazing and the staff helps you put on all the intricate garment. The photos came out great! Excellent lighting and backdrop. Also, the staff were very friendly, great at directing, and really funny! My favorite memory of Japan!

    The shop took a while for me to find (be sure to use Samuri Armor Photo Studio for your Google maps search, not the link on Viator), once I got there, they made up for the delay. The armor is very high quality and the photo shoot very professional. A great souvenir for your visit to Japan and a wonderful experience overall.

    J'ai eu la chance de participer à un shooting photo avec une des très belles répliques d'armure d'un samurai célèbre (dont je ne me souviens plus du nom malheureusement). Le gérant, très sympathique, m'a mis bien à l'aise. Porter la lourde armure m'a procuré une sensation fantastique de bien-être, de sérénité. Les photos ont été très belles. Cela a été un de mes meilleurs souvenirs de mon voyage au Japon. Merci pour tout !
