What a great experience and highly recommend. Our guides, Marc and Julia, were fantastic. They took our group to a few live music bars and a few clubs. You’ll get to go to some great spots that you wouldn’t know about otherwise. 10 of 10!

This experience was so nice. We were a group of 10 travellers from around the world. It’s a great way to meet new people and mingle with them. Cadu our guide was excellent! No complaints. The only reason why I gave a 4 star is just because we left the meeting point around 9:30 and spent about 1 hour in the first bar and another 30-45 min in the second bar. We stayed at the meeting point for one hour before we left for the first bar and by the time we hit the club, I was exhausted. I think if we had started a bit later like meeting point at 10:00 ish it would’ve made sense to be out all night but starting the night at 8:30 and not moving from the meeting point till 9:30 was kind of a waste of time. Overall, great experience! A must do!

You are probably going to end up a little drunk , but any hang over is worth it . The music is great , and you probably will not go home until at least 2.00 am 👍

Victor was our tour guide, super nice, polite, have us a run down on some of the bars we went to. We went to 4 bars and the best ones for me were the 2 where there was live samba. I love world music and seeing performances and people dancing together. The energy is what I live and those 2 were particularly memorable. I will definitely come back to those bars when I visit Rio again. My only criticism, and this is solely for the tour to improve, is that we started pretty late. The tour guide allowed people to be an hour late before he actually started. I think a 20-30 minute window would be best especially since Rio is traffic heavy during carnaval season. I do wish the tour guide recommended drinks that those bars were known for, and advised us that were would be good food to eat prior to coming. Otherwise I would have not ate before hand. Overalla I still had a good time, met a few people, tour guide was nice and informative. I'd do it again if I came back.

Great way to meet others when traveling solo. Great for my first time first even in Rio . Get to go from bar to bar right amount of time. Drinks aren’t included so you will still have to buy at each stop . Overall fun times

Cadu was awesome!! This was a fun experience. We got to hear different types of Brazilian music. Drinks were not provided but Cachaca. They gave us many, many, many shots of this delicious liquor.

You’ll throughly enjoy this tour if you come with an open mind, good energy, and think of this as a networking event. Our tour guide Marx Castro was the absolute best! He engaged with everyone, kept us safe, and gave us a history lesson about the neighborhoods we were passing through as we did our tour. I would highly recommend this type of tour for individuals that are of drinking age, and want to see the city at night while feeling safe meeting new people. If you’re a solo traveler this a great tour to experience too.

This was a great experience with a great group trekking through Laos with bottles of cachaça and drink discounts at various bars! The live music was amazing and it’s not likely that I would’ve gone to these places without someone who knew what they were doing there to guide me! Highly recommend!

Might have been unlucky but this was probably the worst of the bar crawls we done in South America. Host seemed a great guy though so can’t fault him, was a Thursday night we done, met at first bar and it just seemed a bit disjointed maybe due to people arriving late, some people wanting to eat and some not, it was probably a group of around 30, we seemed to hang around for 2 hours, you can order your own drinks here and we where able to chat to people directly beside us but due to big size of group you couldn’t really mix. Then had a walk to the stairs where everyone took pics before going to next bar, this was a rooftop that was pretty quiet and small window bar only sold beers, next club was pretty fun and there was live music so we enjoyed that, should have went to another place but got outside and told it was closed so the tour was ending. We might have been unlucky because there was lots of good reviews but in hindsight we wished we had done our own thing that night instead.

Unfortunately, one of the bars was closed tonight for a private event, and the bar's communication reached us late. We met with the guides Marx & Wil at the meeting point then met all the others on the tour. A wide range of people from South, North & Central America & Europe.
The guys made us all introduce ourselves by toasting a shot of Cachaça which then got us all acquainted & we began the tour.
We visited multiple bars in Lapa mixing it with locals in the buzzing, vibrant atmosphere.
This tour was a real eye opener for me. I Europe we all seem so sad. Work hard & go to sleep, rinse & repeat. The people in Rio De Janiero have a harder life but they live & breath Samba, Dance, fun & Happiness! It's given me a real different outlook on my own life.
Thank you to both Marx & Wil who were fantastic guides their moves & infectious smiles & laughter will be remembered by me forever.

We did this for my wife’s birthday and it was a blast. Our guide Bernardo was really cool and helpful, we went to 4 places and one was good as the other, we meet people from other countries on the tour, we took shots, we danced Samba, LAPA was wild at night, great times. We should have take this tour at the beginning of our vacation but the day we took it, our group was full of wonderful people and ready to party.

The guides were very nice, but this tour did not deliver at all. We started in the meeting spot for almost 2 hours only to go to a rooftop bar at last call.

We’d like to clarify that we stay at the meeting point for approximately one hour to ensure all participants arrive and have a chance to get to know each other before we begin the route. After that, we visit several other bars, spending around 30 to 40 minutes at each location, including the rooftop, which is part of the experience.

We had 3 guides for 30 people. The guides did amazing herding cats! Loud music, maybe stay for only 2 songs as each song is at least 5 to 10 minutes long. I appreciate the shots of Brazilian run and Duce de Lette.

Listen…stop what you’re doing right now and book this!!!!! No seriously. We arrived in Rio the morning of this trip and I was a little concerned that we would be too tired to party all night and I contemplated cancelling but I am so glad I did not. Our guides were nothing short of AMAZING and we met some very cool people from across the world! We danced and partied all night. We ended up leaving early (because we started to get tired) but the party was still going strong. I joked with my husband about going again on another tour with them on our second night but he kindly reminded me that we had plans (maybe I’ll convince him). Anyway… book this now.
