- Minimum age is 12 years
- Any cruise ship passengers wishing to take the tour must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Important: Due to the comfort of the horses, unfortunately passengers weighing over 105kg will not be able to take part in the tour
- Dress according to weather
- Please note that any unwashed riding gear is not allowed to be brought into Iceland from abroad
- Comfortable riding shoes are recommend or walking shoes/ good sneakers
- The easiest way to get to our farm is to take bus no 15 from Reykjavík to us
- If a rider is not following instructions, is not capable of riding or if guides feel insecure about taking a guest for a riding tour - the tour might be cancelled, with out refund.
- Guest must be fit to mount and dismount the horse without stepping stool
- Guest must weigh less than 105kg
- Not recommended for those with allergy for horses, dogs or grass

My spouse and I took a private tour and felt like our preferences for riding speed, challenge and terrain were taken into account which made the ride exciting and interesting for us! We rode for a few minutes in an enclosed paddock to familiarize ourselves with our horses and a new to us riding style, before hitting the trails. Our guide provided lots of information about the history of the area in which we rode which was an added bonus! The horses were well cared for and beautiful! We were able to reach the stable in our rental car, but for those without a car, it is accessible on the bus line. Do not hesitate to book this tour!

Our Gide was personable, helpful, knowledgeable and took us a spectacular ride. The horses are well cared for. I highly recommend! She gave us great recommendations for hidden gems in Iceland.

I'm pretty hard to please because I grew up riding horses. This private excision was perfect! They were good at seeing our skill level and making the experience ours. There was chatting, learning about Icelandic horses and Iceland in general on the journey. Pickup and drop off were seamless and very accommodating. Provided equipment and weather gear we did not already have. They took pictures and videos and shared as well. Wow!!

Best riding experience of my life and it’s not close. The horses were so well trained and well cared for, and our guide prioritized helping us bond and communicate with our horses which made for an extremely enjoyable ride. The scenery was stunning, and the length was perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

It's such a wonderful time! Jonina was very gracious and her horses were obviously good pets of hers as they were very affectionate towards her and seemed to enjoy the ride. We were so happy that we were able to try many different gates, including cantering, since it was just the two of us on the ride with Jonina. She seemed to take us on an even extra long ride which we enjoyed. Would definitely recommend riding here and we look forward to coming again next time we're in Iceland!

Lovely ponies and very lovely guide who gave us lots of advice on places to see afterwards. My 2 girls are experienced riders so this was a proper ride rather than a pony trek as they cater for all abilities. Absolute highlight of the trip for my daughters!

Staff was very accommodating and worked to match up each of us to a particular horse. In fact, we actually swapped horses part way through, as it became clearer which horse would suit a rider.
Effort was made to have each writer spend some time with the horse, brushing them before saddling, leading them around, etc.
The terrain and area traveled was a great mix, and especially beautiful with so many things in summer bloom. Some of the best pictures of the entire trip, in fact! A lot of fun and worth every kroner (but you'll be tired, dusty, and sore!).

Amazing private experience and great communication with the owner. Our guide Anastasia was super friendly and answered all our questions. We helped groom the horses pre ride and gave them post ride snacks. Fun to try and tölt which is an extended smoother trot. Highly recommend this family owned organization!

This was the highlight of my trip. I’ve been riding horses and competing for my entire life, however my boyfriend has never been on a horse before.
This was the best experience for both of us. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and the horses were clearly very happy and extremely well taken care of. My boyfriend was very comfortable the whole time and the guide was amazing at showing him how to guide the horse , balance , etc.
in addition, learning about the history of the landscape we were riding on was so fascinating!
I will DEFINITELY be back here to ride again when I come back to Iceland. If you’re looking for a place to ride and explore the Iceland countryside, this is the best place to go ❤️

This was an amazing experience, the guide is very cool and very interesting : she answered all our questions about icelandic horses.
We booked this riding for 2, we tölt a lot in beautiful landscape.
The horses look very happy, they live on big fields. She really take care of them.
If come again in Iceland, I will do it again for sure!!

This was a great morning! The pony was called Kata, short for Katerina. She was a sweet chestnut. The ride was wonderful with only 5 minutes of mist. And I love the tolt gait, so much fun. Plus Kata had a wonderful canter. ❤️ I am so happy I went with Icelandic Riding! They do strictly private groups. 💕🐴🐎💕

Our ride was perfect! The farm met us at the hotel exactly on time, a nice carpool to their home, learning about the 8 generation horse farm and the family. The horses we affectionate, well trained, and the ride to the lake was just beautiful, in perfect weather.
WE stayed for coffee to learn more. A must DO!

I was looking for a unique and personal horse riding experience for me and my friend who both have very limited horse experience. Linnea was the perfect host and guide for our two person private tour. We got pick-up and drop-off at our down town hotel and an excellent guided tour on horseback, perfectly fitted for our experience and comfort level. The horses were well behaved, the scenery amazing and the riding just challenging enough. This was an experience of a lifetime and exactly what I was hoping for.
