We were ready to leave for our cruise and as usual, life happens…we got to NY/JFK and everything was good, and then 1 hour before boarding of our flight to Iceland our flight ends up with a 2 hour delay; further delaying a short while longer when we were taxiing, but everything was fixed and we went on our way. The problem is we had our transportation scheduled from KEF to Blue Lagoon, and if anyone has ever been to Iceland, you know nothing is cheap, including transportation! We were very nervous that our transportation was not going to be able to meet us and we did not know how we were going to get to our very delayed check-in for the Blue Lagoon. To our extreme pleasure, when we landed in the morning in Iceland, the transportation had replied to my msgs and said they would be waiting for us. We then were further delayed because our flight delay caused there to be almost no staff to offload luggage, so after an hour waiting for luggage, we finally left the Customs area to find my name sitting on a sign, waiting for us to come out. This reset our stress and made for an amazing Iceland trip and upcoming cruise… Thank you.

Our flight was arrived...

Our flight was arrived about an hour earlier and I don’t see they were monitoring the flight status at all so we ended up waited almost the same as our original pick up time. Driver had a few dangerous moments which it was little scary. Otherwise the ride was pretty smooth.

Regarding the waiting time, we would like to clarify that according to the booking information we received, an incorrect flight number was provided for your reservation. We monitored the flight details based on the information registered in the booking and dispatched the driver accordingly. If the correct flight number had been provided, the flight could have been tracked accurately and there would not have been a need for you to wait beyond your actual arrival time. Regarding your concern about the driving, we take this matter very seriously. Our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking, and the driving activity is recorded in our system. We have also reviewed the available camera footage from the vehicle. Based on our review, the situation you experienced was not intentional and appears to have occurred as a result of the traffic situation and the vehicle ahead. Great experience! Our flight was delayed and I was able to communicate with the driver the whole time. He pretty much talked to me each step of the way. From waiting for our plane to take off at Detroit and from Reykjavik debarking the plane through customs and luggage pack up. Once we step out of the airport he was right there waiting on us. What a relief after a long night flight made process stress-free. Definitely worth the money.
