It was good experience for Portugal traditional music. If you are first time to visit, you have to go for a watching. After you can enjoy the thr Mouro garden and Luis bridge with sun set.

Loved how handy it was to the centre of the old town ! Wonderful we were able to see 2 singers with amazing instrumentation. ! Loved the studio with all the various guitars and history on the walls ! But it felt a bit staged and clinical . From what I had read it is meant to be off the cuff and what the singer is feeling at that moment ! But outstanding voices and songs

Tremendous music in centrally located venue. Very worthwhile. Our night had two great singers with a bass, fado guitar and regular classical guitar- all very accomplished musicians. Glass of port was an extra bonus

Incredible musicians, friendly staff, an intimate space with a complimentary glass of port wine. What’s not to love? The room does get warm, so be aware of that in case you overheat easily. Otherwise, this is a great venue to see a fado show.

I did 3 fado shows in 3 days. One in Porto and two in Lisbon. This one in Porto was by fare the best one. Very nice and cool place, great acoustic and atmosphare, and very friendly and laidback musicians, that you can have a chat with before the show:) The singers was great, and had some great voices and funny and cool vibes!
I would like to come back to this place in the future. Thanks for a great show at 2115 on the 8th of September 2025. 👍👍

Very authentic performance in a lovely setting in Casa da Guitarra. Our son and daughters in their early twenties also found it very interesting and enjoyable. Great experience in Porto, singers and musicians were all amazing.

Great experience with 2 kids (7 and 9 yrs) and my husband. It was conveniently located in Porto and the show was amazing. We got front row seats and the Port wine was excellent. I felt like it was just long enough to have a nice experience and kids also enjoyed.

Most of these 1 hour fado shows are geared for tourists so it misses some of the ambience. However the performances are enthusiastic and you get exposure to some quality up-and-coming talent. So if you're on a time budget then this experience so close to the cathedral and bridge should warm your heart.

We loved it. There were both a man and a woman who sang and at the end they did a duet. It was really moving and the venue is perfect. The two musicians were clearly professionals.
