That Fado feeling!

This was our first experience with Fado. We’ve had several Flamenco experiences while in Spain. The venue was beautiful and the people were welcoming. We enjoyed the port while waiting. What a treat to experience two styles of Fado. Both were beautiful and moving. The voices, the guitar, the emotion of it. We particularly enjoyed the voice and passion and engagement of the male singer with the cape - I don’t recall his name. What a beautiful and meaningful evening. Highly recommend! The venue layout meant everyone had a great view.

Link to meeting point was wrong and sent us in a different direction we got to right place one minute after and the lady there said she had no seats why are they selling tickets if they don’t have enough seats. Venue was small and congested there was no proper stage just a small podium room was rectangular and audience was seated on the two sides performers had there sides to the audience Not worth the money

The venue is ideal. Very welcoming and a nice touch to have a glass of porto wine included. The show featured a male singer and then switched to a female singer half time with different musicians so a variation.

I was late because when I pushed directions (in stead of the address) on my Viatour ticket, the map took me to a park far from the venue. Once I got settled, though, I was mesmerized. Such powerful music leading to deep emotions.

We were in awe. It was such an incredible experience. There were two groups, one was the “opening” group and the other seemed to be the main one as they lasted longer. I did not feel the hour pass by. It was brilliant and they sang with so much emotion. The location was also really great. I’d only recommend people to come early to secure their seats because otherwise you can get back seats and not see too well. But regardless that didn’t impact it much.

It was an amazing show, so unique and a lovely cozy atmosphere. The venue host makes sure you have a great view of the stage from every seat. Port provided as you take your seat or when the show starts (it’s up to you). Well worth the money and taking the time to go watch, the singers are amazing. An unforgettable experience.
