Wow what a passionate , personal and intimate performance ! I did not understand a word but it didn’t matter - I had goosebumps ! Loved every minute and it would have to be a must do in Porto !! I have been to 2 other Fados and this outshone them both !

I heard about Fado only recently , through doing my research about cultural experiences to immerse myself in when traveling to Portugal. This was one of the highlights for my time in Portugal , the singer ( I wish I remembered her name ) was phenomenal, and the two gentleman on the instruments were amazing too. The location can’t be beaten either , the location is right in front of the river and the bridge , so sunset looks breathtaking here . Definitely check out this show if you’re in Portugal , you won’t regret it .

This was an amazing and intimate experience, they keep a small crowd so not too many people and every seat was a great one. However we were lucky enough to sit by the window and listening to the Fado music as the sun set over Porto will be a memory I will keep with me forever. This musical connection with the deep historical roots of Porto is an absolute must on your itinerary here. I wouldn’t miss it and would recommend to everyone coming to Porto. The musicians are just so talented and the singer is spellbinding.

My friend from the area pushed us into attending the event. Ana Ferreira and her two man band didn't dissappoint. She belted out numbers all in Portuguese and even though we didn't understand the words, we still enjoyed the passion and her voice. It was very entertaining.

The ambiance was cozy and authentic. The whole performance was in Portuguese, which made it feel very real and true to the tradition. The singer was full of passion, and the guitarists were incredibly talented. A incredible experience — definitely worth seeing in Porto!

Our family had the pleasure of experiencing the Fado performance with this amazing group on our first day of arrival to Porto on June 9, 2025. The experience was intimate and unique. To be able to sit right in front of the singer and the guitar players, you could feel the emotion and the Passion of the performers. By chance, the infant daughter of our singer was there also which made the experience even more special.
It was a wonderful experience and we could not recommend it highly enough.
The free beverage (Porto or juice) also complemented the experience. We were mesmerized by the music and the singing, as we sat with a view of the Duoro river outside the windows.

I was unsure of this when I booked the experience to add a little "culture" to our trip, but Ana Ferreira and her guitarists were fantastic! We ALL loved the show! Songs were emotional, not really sad, and Ana explained the Fado tradition. Venue was conveniently located and comfortable. Highly, highly recommend!!
