Absolutely amazing time surfing in Porto Had a blast!! If you have never surfed before all the way to easily getting up on 5+ footers, Porto is an amazing place and this is a great at helping all skill levels

Good first time experience

Great first time surfing experience. The instructor was patient and very energetic. Always encouraging, which was great. A few things to note: This is a surfing school that teaches groups of kids. Your instructor is one of the teachers at the school - so your private lesson is along side a group of kids. The school was a bit hard to find, and was a bit of a walk away from the beach. You have to walk with the surfboard from the school to the beach - Not a problem if you're able bodied. The beach is not a private beach - it's a section of the beach which is reserved for the school. If you're lacking in self confidence, and are horrified at how you look in a wet suit don't worry. You're going to be focusing more on not falling off your board - not on the other people around you. But all told, a great first time experience. I don't think I'll become a surfer, but it was great to cross that off my bucket list :-)

This was my first ever time surfing. 🏄‍♂️ Having a great instructor made it so awesome to feel comfortable and was awesome getting so many good tips. Recommended
