Small group and the tour was very accommodating. At the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte we wanted to go down the 500 plus stairs but the thought going back up was not appealing. Our guide we could walked down them and he would pick us up at the end.
Our lunch place was preselected and EXCELLENT. soup, salad, potatoes, main course of fish or veal, and dessert.

Meridian4People were wonderfully accommodating and helpful after we ran into an unexpected difficulty on our trip. And then, on the day of our tour, our guide, Milena and her father (our driver) were gracious and entertaining hosts, offering interesting historical and cultural highlights and context, even through lunch. Our Brazilian companions and Milena shared many food stories (green beans as little fishes from the garden will be my grandson's favourite for years, I am sure) during lunch and throughout our tours of the cathedral, churches, castle and palace many interesting tidbits made this a very enjoyable day. This tour was very good! Although our tour guide was fairly new, if he didn't know the answer to any thing, he didn't hesitate to ask another local to find out the answer for us. He let us take our time and did not rush us at all. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Great sites to visit and great company. Highly recommend!

Tanya did a wonderful job in showing us these two remarkable places just outside of Porto. She was kind and knowledgeable. Her English was very good which made us comfortable. She made it very easy for us to see each place and we had time to ourselves too. This was a highlight of our visit to Portugal.
