Very difficult walking for anyone with health issues. A lot of uneven walking with lots of people trying to see the same thing. A great tour but a lot to see.

The tour of Pompei was led by a very professional and knowledgeable guide. Francesco was a local who grew up around the ruins and turned that into a fantastic career. He was funny at times and kept the group updated with facts about the history and the importance of the ruins. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was nice not to wait in line to get tickets. Wear a hat, you spend a lot of time in the sun.

Very disappointing experience with this tour company in Salerno.
Our group arrived at the designated meeting location on time for the Pompeii tour and spent considerable time searching for the guide, sign, and tour group. We followed the instructions provided but could not locate anyone associated with the tour.
What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication and support. We made multiple phone calls to the tour coordinator and sent repeated help requests through the app while we were at the meeting point, yet none of the calls or messages were answered. We have screenshots documenting these attempts.
Because we received no assistance whatsoever, we missed the tour despite being there on time. We were later offered only a partial refund of approximately $130 on a tour that cost around $350, even though the failure was clearly related to the company’s lack of responsiveness and coordination.
To avoid losing the day entirely, we had to book another Pompeii tour at nearly $700.
Travelers should be aware that if issues arise at the meeting point, customer support may be unreachable when you need it most. Extremely frustrating experience and not the level of service we expected.

We are very sorry that you missed the tour, but we must strongly clarify the facts, as your description does not accurately reflect what occurred.
The Meeting Point: Our meeting point is clearly indicated, and on the day of your tour, over 50 other participants located our coordinators and departed on time without any issues.
Our Communication Attempts: You mentioned a lack of communication, but the reality is exactly the opposite. When our team noticed your absence at the departure time, our staff proactively attempted to call your phone number multiple times to assist you and guide you to the spot. Unfortunately, you never answered our emergency calls. We cannot assist guests who do not pick up their phones when we call them. We have official, dated phone logs proving these outgoing calls to your number.
Our Gesture of Goodwill: Since this was a clear "no-show" due to your own arrival difficulties and failure to answer our calls, according to the cancellation policy, you were not entitled to any refund. However, as a pure gesture of goodwill, we still chose to issue a partial refund to cover your entrance tickets so you wouldn't lose the full amount.
It is deeply unfair to blame our company and our customer service when we did everything possible to reach you, while 50 other guests followed the instructions successfully.

This was an excellent tour from start to finish. Danielle was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Pompeii and shared fascinating insights that really brought the site to life. Her enthusiasm and expertise made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pompeii.

What an amazing tour! Four of us did this tour on April 26, 2026 on a beautiful day. All directions were perfect and our tour guide (cannot remember her name...that is why it is good to do reviews on the day of the excursion) was so pleasant and very knowledgeable. Many times she pointed out the similarities in then and now, adding humorously, " Some things don't change." Despite the fact that Pompeii was extremely crowded and quite large, she managed to keep our tour group together and ensured that we had a comprehensive tour that included everything of importance. I was also impressed with the care that she took with a tourist from a different group who had fallen. I would definitely recommend this tour group. This tour was also quite cognizant of time and returning us to our ship. I would have no reservations about booking this group as an off cruise excursion. If I were to add one minor bit of advice that has nothing to do with this excursion group, but was suggested by a different tour guide on a different excursion. You may see fountains of running water that are deemed quite safe for human consumption in Pompeii. On a different tour in Turkey, our tour guide pointed out that while deemed safe, tourists sometimes have difficulty adjusting to things like water in different countries for whatever reasons, and suggested that we stick to bottled water so as not to get a chance of a tummy upset that could put a cramp (pardon the pun) on our vacation. One of my friends ended up with an upset stomach on a evening that she filled her bottle from a drinking fountain on one of our excursions so I thought that I might throw this in. Many other tourists did the same, so who is to know if this was the culprit.

Francesco , who is an archaeologist was amazing.He was born and raised in Pompeii. Gave you the history of Pompeii and detail of what the structures symbolized etc.

Excellent tour, so much to see and hard to see everything in a short tour. Our tour guide, Francesca, was a great and very informative guide . Be prepared for lots of tourists, which lines moved quickly and LOTS of uneven surfaces. It was really difficult for others with mobility issues especially at the pace we kept.
