Please do not confuse the Carrousel Arch with the Arc de Triomphe.

Louvre: A cloakroom is compulsory for umbrellas, luggage, and pushchairs that are not allowed in the exhibition rooms.
The Louvre Museum closes at 9:45 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Difficulty getting tickets from viator

We had difficulty getting the tickets and they refused to let us in at the Louvre. We tried to contact Viator by phone but very hard to get through to customer service. Very disappointing experience. Sarah and her assistant were very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived with 2 wheelchairs and they took the time to locate the wheelchair access and take us all over the museum. Their patience and kindness were greatly appreciated. We went right next to the Mona Lisa, passed through the Gold room, walked through Napolean apartments, and took pictures by the Olympic Statue. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we saw way more than we bargained for. This is a must-see tour for all.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with this tour was extremely negative that I feel compelled to share my thoughts and prevent others from making the same mistake. I strongly advise against booking this tour, and if I could turn back time, I would never have chosen it. Exploring the Louvre for the first time through this tour was incredibly disheartening. Despite reading numerous negative reviews beforehand, I naively believed my experience might be different. Unfortunately, it was even worse than my expectations. You know those passionate and knowledgeable guides who can captivate you and leave you in awe within a short period of time? Well, this tour is the complete opposite. The guide simply pointed at statues, occasionally mentioning their names, and hurriedly instructed us to look up while walking, mentioning some pretty paintings along the way. The guide rushed us through the line to see the Mona Lisa, but did so in such a poor manner that it completely stripped away any sense of wonder that art usually evokes. This tour was the most disappointing and disheartening one I have ever attended. If the guide had been transparent from the beginning, explaining that her knowledge was limited and her goal was to guide us to the Mona Lisa while sharing a few memorized facts, it would have helped manage our expectations. However, this lack of transparency and preparation only added to the overall disappointment of the tour. While I could go on about my specific grievances with the guide, after reading other reviews, it became clear that they are poorly trained and the company has a low standard for providing a satisfactory experience. Ultimately, whether you’re an art enthusiast or not, I strongly advise against taking this tour. It will only further diminish your appreciation for art and leave you feeling let down.

The louvre is a massive museum. Having a guide can be very helpful. when we arrived at the Museum we got lost but managed to catch up eventually. We were late for our tour but the whole team was very helpful and they let us go with the next available tour. The guide was excellent. He explained in details about how to navigate through the museum. I would recommend this tour as skip the line option can save a lot of time and energy especially if you have kids.

In the end it took too much time waiting in the sun outside and too much time before we ended near the Mona Lisa. The Nice guide had to count all 20 people more than 20 times. And we didn’t get An entry ticket so we had to be very carefull NOT to accidentally pass the gates … it was far too much money for What we got.

Pariscityvision or whatever horrible group is pathetic. Absolute trash. No headphones, no briefing nothing. The guides are just in a rush to finish one tour and get bk to the gates again. Our guide was hopeless. She knows nothing and was just racing around. Horrible horrible horrible. Again Viator has to check their 3rd party sources. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 👎🏻

Staff very helpful and they do everything as described but not great value as this is effectively only a skip the line ticket, maybe better to spend a bit more and get a proper guided tour.
