- Items not allowed in the tower include: oversized luggage or bags, climbing or jumping gear (especially bungee jumping and parachutes), publicity materials of any kind, child buggies/strollers that are not foldable, animals, except those required by disabled visitors, glass bottles, drink cans, excessive amount of food or drink
- Latecomers will not be granted entry to the tower or any from of refund even partial.
- Entry is reserved at a specific time slot. Tickets cannot be modified, exchanged, or refunded
- Tickets cannot be picked up in advance and alternate meeting points are not possible
- Adult pricing applies to all travelers from 0-99 years old
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your chosen time.
- The meeting point is NOT the Eiffel Tower it is our office There is no alternate meeting point possible

The Eiffel Tower is great. Just not sure why we had to wait to walk to it with a tour guide who went her own was after security. Would have hoped there would have been a bit of history given on the way. Would advise to just order tickets from the website.

Our guide was fantastic and paying extra to skip the line saved us tons of time to do other activities. Our guide was super nice, knowledgeable and friendly. It was also super easy to find the office where we met our guide.

1. Guide had excellent knowledge however did not cater to slow walking medically impaired and my wife struggled to keep up with the pace.
There was a situation with the lifts from level 1 to the ground floor and we waited nearly an hour. Tower staff did not seem to know what was going on and crowd handling could be better.

In regards to the pace of the tour, did you indicate this to the tour guide while walking ? They most surely are unware until you say so.
Additionally, tours have strict timings to enter and are not suitable for recommended for persons with walking disabilities. Nevertheless, we always ask our guides to make sure that everyone is comfortable.

Weather was a negative factor. Very cold and rainy, extra strong winds which blew some of us off our feet and our tour only took us up one level as travel to next levels prohibited. This was an expensive tour and we only experienced about one quarter of it.

Booked the summit Tour - guide Louise was phenomenal - covered all the bases in visiting the tower. The start location is a 10m walk from the tower and the staff at the office is very helpful. Note - they have a seating area if you need to wait for your tour.

After trying to book Eiffel Tower tickets on my own, I gave up and went with aviator. I’m glad I did! We met our guide at a local travel office near the Eiffel Tower in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood and walked a short distance to the entrance. Our guide explained the history and interesting facts about the ET. Once in, she showed us a wonderful photo spot and took us up 2 elevators where she parted. We bought tickets to the top which was incredible! Viator made it all so easy!

Ekaette was a first rate tour guide! She was cute, funny, knowledgeable and provided us with so much interesting information! Our only regret is that the tower closed early on the day of our visit (which we did not know until we were at the top of the tower) so we did not have enough time to experience the glass floor on Level 1.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Tour Company
This was one of the worst tour experiences we’ve had. The company didn’t have enough tickets for all the customers, even though my husband and I arrived half an hour early and were the second family to check in. I mentioned to the guide that my phone battery was dying, and he told me to go to a nearby store to charge it. I informed him I’d be there, and my husband waited outside.
Soon after, my husband saw the group starting to walk toward the tower, so we rushed to catch up. Just before entering, the guide told us he didn’t have tickets for us—even though we had checked in early. He casually offered his own ticket for one of us, but we refused to be separated. Thankfully, another guest gave us their ticket so we could enter.
I strongly advise against booking with this company. It felt like the guide knew all along that there weren’t enough tickets and tried to leave us behind to avoid responsibility. Completely unprofessional and dishonest.

We paid $229 American dollars for tickets that were not what the description said when we booked. The ticket price for our tour was $36.10E an according to the ticket our guide handed us also our tour guide told us it included champagne which it did not. How could you charge $115 for a ticket that says $36.01 E. Our guide just spoke for 10min and then left us on our own to go to the summit. There were many in our group that were upset about the cost and what we got in return I have used Viatours for many years and never have experienced this before

In regards to your comments, you started implying that we should have provided you with Champagne during this tour. This tour has never been advertised as such, and we are binded by contract with the Eiffel Tower preventing us from selling this type of package.
Furthermore, in response to your complaint about the guide providing 10 minutes of comments : she stayed more that 1 hour with you.
In terms of pricing, you seem to forget that in this price :

Our guide Ekaette was fantastic. We learned so much about the tower and its history. Tour was way better than if we had just gone on our own. She made the time in line for the elevators interesting by telling us the history. We liked the fact that we were in our own once at the top.

Tour guide didn’t talk to us until through security gate then it was maybe 5 min max of scripted talk, hardly hear her as she mainly looked at the tower. That was it for our tour, she said nothing else. No further information, very basic 5 mins by security. Confusion about whether we could go to top or not. Had no idea what they were doing. Awful.

Overall an amazing experience! Skip the line was so beneficial given the massive throngs of people trying to get in at the same time. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable- however we missed out on some of the content as he hurried to get those of us who bought summit tickets onto that elevator line before shifting his attention to those staying on the 2nd level. We did this iconic attraction at night - such a perfect time to see the city of lights!
