- Items not allowed in the tower include: oversized luggage or bags, climbing or jumping gear (especially bungee jumping and parachutes), publicity materials of any kind, child buggies/strollers that are not foldable, animals, except those required by disabled visitors, glass bottles, drink cans, excessive amount of food or drink
- Latecomers will not be granted entry to the tower or any from of refund even partial.
- Entry is reserved at a specific time slot. Tickets cannot be modified, exchanged, or refunded
- Tickets cannot be picked up in advance and alternate meeting points are not possible
- Adult pricing applies to all travelers from 0-99 years old
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your chosen time.
- The meeting point is NOT the Eiffel Tower it is our office There is no alternate meeting point possible

So happy we chose this tour! Loved everything about it and our guide, Pascal, was knowledgeable, informative and fun! We thoroughly enjoyed going up to the summit and happy that we didn’t stop at the first stop. There are toilets and a cafe at the summit. Amazing views! Words can’t even begin to express how amazing this tour was!

Anna was a great guide. Very kind and very attentive. She gave great information about the Eiffel Tower history. And information about the light show at night.
Only I wish she had a microphone, it was hard to hear her, she is very soft spoken. And some sort of tall flag, she was short so it was hard to keep up with her and find her while walking.

The Eiffel Tower was wonderful - we paid to go to the top and it was breath taking. Spend the extra money and do it. However if you’re looking for history and background this is not the tour - our guide basically got us to the tower, in the elevator and said good bye at the second floor. It was great that we could spend as much time there as possible so we stayed til 10 when the lights came on.

I texted multiple times to ask questions and also to check on moving dates when our flight got canceled. They never even responded. Viator finally reached out on our behalf and they said their policy was strict and there were no changes allowed no matter what. They didn't even have the decency to respond to any of my attempts to contact them directly.

I know that the access at 9:45 pm is for the 2nd floor, but the summit access is not timed. Is the line usually extremely long for the summit that late at night? Also, are you able to tell me if the place selling champagne at the top of the tower is open that late as well? Thank you so much!"

Access at 9:45PM ? You have to be at the meeting point exactly at 9:30PM, tour leaves at 9:45PM, and there is no alternate meeting point, latecomers cannot be attended, amended or refunded either.
As for the queues to reach top floor, it varies on the season, there is no way to know in advance

When asked about your flight, if that was the real reason why you would not attend, you were invited to contact your insurance. That's what normal people do. You paid for a non refundable activitiy, We have already paid for your timed group reservation and guide and you expected us to take the loss and reschedule you ? You warned us a few hours before your tour. Next time please make sure not to book a non flexible activity so close to your flight.

The guide was nice but it did not appear the tour avoided any waiting. The climb to the first level was not bad but we ended up waiting to go up to the 2nd level for 45 minutes maybe a hour. The 1st level “tour” was minimal. Once we walked up to the 2nd floor the tour was over. Then we independently waited in line to go to the summit. I felt I could have saved a lot of unnecessary waiting and money if I just went on my own.

We are quite puzzled by your review, as the experience you describe does not match any of the tours we operate.
From your description, it sounds like the tour began on the first floor after climbing the stairs, followed by a guided visit to the second floor. We do not offer this type of tour. Our Eiffel Tower tours do not involve climbing the stairs. Instead, all of our tours go directly by elevator to the second floor, where the guided portion takes place. Guests who have summit access then proceed independently by changing elevators to reach the summit, as guides are not permitted to accompany visitors beyond the second floor.
For this reason, we believe your review may have been posted on the wrong company's page. If so, we would greatly appreciate it if you could verify the tour operator and post your feedback with the correct provider.

Your was only open limited times due to heat, our first booked tour got canceled. Luckily this one came up and it was great. I did one about 15 months ago and it was good but this one was even better.. highly recommend!

There are too many people at the Eiffel Tower, so you have a hard time knowing where to go. Summit access took forever as they were shuttling up elevators full of people to the top, but you had to wait in line to get to the elevators. Views are great, but this experience was underwhelming. Never did find where to get the champagne for our group of 4.

We're sorry to hear that your visit to the Eiffel Tower summit did not meet your expectations. You're right that during peak season, the Tower can become very busy, and this can unfortunately lead to longer waiting times and a less enjoyable experience. Due to the Tower's unique structure, access to the summit is only possible via dedicated elevators from the second floor, so queues can sometimes be unavoidable.
We're also sorry that you weren't able to find the champagne bar. It is located at the summit, but it may have been closed during your visit.
We hope you were still able to enjoy the spectacular views of Paris despite the inconveniences, and we appreciate your feedback, as it helps set expectations for future visitors.

The skip the line feature for this tour is worth every penny. You go all the way to the top and the views are amazing. FYI your best pictures of the city will be from the lower portion of the tower.

The lift to the summit was shut down at 7pm just as we were ready to board. Mechanical issues. Our guide was with us and said we could wait, but no guarantee it would open again. Gussets were told they would receive a refund if they purchased their tickets directly from Eiffel Tower and that those of us which purchased the tickets from individual vendors such as Viator are also eligible for a refund. I reached out to Vistor, but still have not heard from them. Still waiting and hoping I don’t get the run around and simply get my refund.

Paying an up charge to have a “guide” walk us over to the Tower was not worth the price. So-called “skipping the line” wasn’t true.
Not the guide’s fault, but on top of not really skipping a line, the top of the tower was announced as being closed when we were about 10 people away from the elevator that takes you to the top from the “second floor.” One employee said it was due to mechanics issues another said it was due to the heat! This was at 8:30 pm…Sadly, the highlight of our trip to the Eiffel Tower did not happen. Trying to get a refund, which the employees advised us to do, is not an easy task.

Having the tour guide, escort us, explain the history of the Eiffel Tower and other significant landmarks really enhanced our summit visit. Going in the evening and being able to stay on past dusk to see the Tower lit up and then sparkle was a great end to the day.

It’s the perfect tour! A warm reception from our tour guide and friendly meeting of fellow travelers in the group, along with a short history of the tower and an escort to 2nd floor then set free to explore at our leisure. We enjoyed champagne at top and stayed for dinner with a spectacular view of Paris. Wonderful!

Quick way to beat the lines. It was slightly less crowded when we went (8pm). Great view of Paris, the only thing you can’t see is the Eiffel Tower!

The guide Marie was good and informative presented was also good. The basics were getting to tower and access to second floor. Not much else in the way of a tour per se.

The tour guide was nice and helpful. Loved being able to go all the way to the top and get those fantastic views! On the way down we stopped for lunch and souvenirs. It was a great experience! We spent 2 hours having lunch in a restaurant with breathtaking views and incredible food and service.
