Your 2-day tour from Paris to the beloved French regions of the Loire Valley and Normandy includes comfortable coach transportation, accommodation at a 4-star hotel in the town of Angers and meals (lunch and dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2). We set off early on the first morning with our tour guide. Lots and lots of driving as was expected but well worth it. We had lots of time at Mount Saint Michel being guided around and then given free time. We had time for a nice lunch then back on the bus. At this point there was some confusion as to what bus we should be on as the bus we arrived on was apparently only the day trip not the overnight trip. I overheard a conversation that made me question which bus I should be on which luckily pushed us and another couple onto the correct bus. The other couple thought they’d mucked up and purchased the day excursion so were trying desperately to find accommodation. This was sorted in the end but caused a lot of grief and uncertainty.
Overnight hotel was great and in a good location to walk around Angers town centre and have dinner. The next day was to the Loire valley. There’s no stop at Angers castle as you get in too late to visit. The three chateaus are beautiful and we felt we had enough time at each. Time for lunch at Chenonceaux even queuing for 30 mins still plenty of time for lunch. Long long drive back to Paris. Two big days but sore everything we wanted to.
Recommend if you’re ok in a bus for a long time. One star taken off as the three guides we encounter didn’t have a great idea of what was going on. The guide around Mont Saint Michel was provided to us and she was great.

On day 1, the bus was an hour late arriving at departure point and then didn't leave for another hour. We had a very nice lunch and 2 hours at Mt St Michel. On day 2, we had 1.5 hours at Amboise and 2 hours at Chenonceau. Hotel was okay.

The company that does this tour is super organized. Everything went as planned and we saw and learned a lot of cool things.
My only complaint is with the nature of a big tour like this. There is a lot of bus travel and the time at the sites is very limited. We had to rush around after the guided parts to see anything else. The planned meals weren't that great, I would rather not have that included and instead just leave time for folks to eat on their own.
The hotel was fine, the breakfast was great.
It's really cool that they accommodate so many different languages. If you don't want to drive yourself, this is a great option.
It's a bit pricey.

I loved seeing the Mont Saint-Michel and the Loire Castles. Wish they would have told us ahead of time that due to the time schedule we would not be seeing the Mont Saint Michel at high tide and therefore missing it being surrounded by water. Also, because of the time schedule we felt rushed a lot. They would say there will be plenty of time at the end to take photos, but that never seemed to happen. Also, a lot of times it felt like we were huddled in a corner and told about what we were going to see and then we would rush by what we were seeing. That being said, other than renting a car, I don't see any better logistics for the trip.

Unfortunately our tour coincided with a holiday weekend so all the destinations where crowded and rushed. Check for local holidays before booking.

This tour was excellent! We saw many wonderful chateaus and the hotel for the overnight stay was very nice as was the dinner provided. The guides were very knowledgeable but the headsets could be better. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Caroline was an excellent guide and host during our visit to Mount St. Michel. She has a very good grasp of the history of the region. We enjoyed ourselves emensely. Very well worth the time and money spent to make this visit.

It was a very good tour. Very Informative. The fact that we had to change buses twice was a the reason why I wont give it five stars.
Overnight stay was in a good hotel. Included meals were good and tasty. We had the option to eat chicken both times. Not sure how many options will be available for Vegetarians.

The tour was great, however, we asked for our headphones on the way there and were told our tickets didn't include them. Later, the guide realized this was a mistake but we missed all of the commentary on the way to Mt. St. Michel. Additionally, unanimously the group felt that it should not have been a seated set course lunch, it wasted alot of our time while we were at the mountain. A simple picnic lunch would be preferable and perfect, that took way too much of our time. Otherwise, the castles were amazing, the tour guides helpful, hotel accommodations great and dinner was great.

Very enjoyable. It was rainy but being on the bus and seeing the Normandy and Loire countryside broiught back many memories. in addition, the tour of the chateaux and Mont st. Michel were incredible.

The tour was good, we only had 2 days and this tour enabled us to see a number of places in a short period of time. Changing buses and co-tourists was a bit disruptive but otherwise very good.

The tour was great!! Mont St-Michel was just fantastic. A fe things to note, not enough time at Chamboard. At all the other chateaus we were giving a good tour and some history, but only shown the top of Chamboard and really nothing else Bit of a shame considering how beautiful and HUGE it is. Could of had a bit less time in the first chateau. Apart from this the tour was great! History fantastic and food!

Though the tour guides were of uneven quality, the two days did pack in just as much touring as I had hoped: Mont St. Michel, nice meals, a good hotel, and three chateaux. I appreciated the 1.5 hours of free time after each tour, so we would be free to roam where we liked. However, on the trip back to Paris, it would really help to find a different rest stop. The bathrooms at the gas station/mini-mart were quite smelly, with limited stalls for women (some of which could not be used: truly primitive). Nonetheless, I would book a tour with this company again, simply for its convenience and budget-friendliness. (I don't need to travel in luxury.) I like to see as much as possible for the $: this tour did accomplish that.

Loved every bit of it. Great pacing. We weren't rushed but also didnt feel like we had to find ways to kill time. Comfy buses. Great accomodation. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Loved exploring the Mont and various chateaus.

We enjoyed this tour a great deal. Comfortable buses, well organized, knowledgeable guides. One suggestion. The guides might remind passengers to keep their conversations fairly quiet in respect to others on the tour.

The 2 day tour was fabulous and I recommend it. The sight of Mont St Michel as it came into view from the bus was awesome. We had lunch first before going to the Mont and that was good but took about an hour. There were only two toilets in the restaurant so a queue quickly formed - there is a lack of public toilets in France, my only complaint. You can take a free bus to and from the Mont but could walk if you want. The actual village of Mont St Michel was fascinating but a fairly steep climb up many steps. You need a reasonable level of mobility to reach the top parts. Many, many tourists unfortunately. Beautiful views around the surrounding countryside from the top parts. The overnight accommodation at the Mecure Hotel and the meals provided were all good. On the next day was the return trip to Paris via the chateaux. I saw the chateaux of Langeais, Chenonceau and Chambord and all were different from each other but were worth seeing. The grounds of the chateaux were lovely to walk around. The guides were all English speaking. The trip was well organized and an enjoyable time was had. Highly recommended.

Mont St Michel was fabulous! The day was a bit hazy, but the views were still wonderful. It's a lot of climbing for people with any physical impediments, though. The Chateaux were extraordinary and the commentary about them was very interesting. The dinner provided was quite good, but it's too bad they didn't choose a hotel in an area with things to see and do. The only option was to sit in the room.
