Depart from your Naples hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle destined for Irpinia, a wine region cradled by the Apennine Mountains. Next, pleasure you palate with three separate varietal samples and educate your tastebuds to recognize the subtle flavors and aromas of each wine.

Travel onward to Montemiletto, a rural village where you can enjoy a rustic lunch at your own expense. Sated, continue to the provincial Feudi di San Gregorio estate to tour the vineyards and subterranean cellars. Our tour guide, Gaetano, is not only a sommelier, he is also a genealogist and has a passion for history, so not only did he educate us on wines from two different wineries (one small and one larger), he shared his passion for the area we visited. And between wineries, which was in addition to the tour, he took us to a gelato shop to cleanse our palate. I highly recommend this tour. Many thanks to Gaetano.
