We spent almost 3 hours walking the streets of Naples with Mario. He did an excellent job explaining much of the history of Naples and shared many of the details about significant structures. We stopped for coffee, we stopped to make purchases, it was perfect. We even walked by the home where Mario grew up. He is very knowledgeable, highly recommend!

Our guide, Antonio Mosca was excellent. Passionate, knowledgeable, friendly… all in all one of the best guides I’ve ever had. The whole trip was perfectly organized. The driver was excellent, the staff waiting at the various locations were friendly and always available. In short, if you’re interested in Pompeii, history and archeology, you’re best bet is to go with Antonio and Askos

Our 2 hour tour was given by Sarah. She was reasonably knowledgeable on the history of Naples and provided an good overview. The tour takes you to some of the historical districts of the city and you see the exterior of a few of the churches and castles. The only interiors you see are a couple of the churches which happen to be open with free entry at the time of the tour. Sites requiring paid entry are not visited and not discussed. You get a good feel of the ambience of current Naples just by walking the streets but the current Naples is not discussed. However given the price of the tour it does provide a reasonable overview of Naples history.

Spent a nice afternoon getting a history of Naples. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. Tour starts at the Fountain of Neptune, New Castle, by the waterfront, Piazza Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto, via Toledo, Old Town Historic centre history of the Opera etc. We ended up having dinner where it ended by Piazza Bellini. Great way to get to know Naples.

I enjoyed this 2 hour tour of Naples which was taken on March 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Mario because he gave me a slightly idea about the city and I remember several highlights of Naples which he showed me - Piazza del Municipio, Piazza del Plebiscito, San Carlo Theater, Umberto Gallery, Via Toledo, Piazza Dante, Piazza Bellini, etc. I wish I could have spent much more time in Naples. This tour was the ideal way to start my stay in Naples! Though Federica was a little bit late, I was supplied with her mobile number and I phoned her and knew she was on her way. I was the only one one that morning so it was a private tour and I think we both enjoyed ourselves!! I was taken to places that I might not have gone to on my own, like the windy streets of the Old Town. My guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and very easy to understand. The longer I stayed in Naples the more I realized how much I had learned on this tour, about the history, the culture, the food and the Neapolitan traditions. On subsequent tours I was able to say I learned that from Federica!! I really enjoyed the insight about the making of the nativity scenes, the 'presepe' and even visited a workshop she knew off Via San Gregio Armeno. I felt I was better able to manouevre Naples on my own after this special experience!

We took the afternoon tour with Dee Dee. It was wonderful to get see the sights with a native who was able to not only provide us with the history of the city but also provide us with insight into local life and traditions. We booked this tour for the afternoon portion of our day in port in Naples we visited Pompeii in the morning. The meeting spot Fountain of Neptune in Piazza Municipio was an easy walk from the port and we did not have any trouble finding our way back from the end point of the tour Piazza Diante to the cruise ship. This was an excellent option to get the most out of our short time in Naples. Great tour for a great price with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide.

DiDi was fantastic! The meeting place was a few minutes away from the ship and we found the spot in no time. We arrived early and found a cute little coffee shop just up the street and had cappachinos sitting outside. She was held up in traffic and we ended up with a very personalized tour with extra time. With only four of us in the tour we were never rushed and she was always happy to answer our many questions. To have a person, who loves her city, made us want to return and see more of Naples. We were on a cruise so only had the one day but know we must return with time to see more of the ancient city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

There were just me and my wife on this walking tour, so we were able to talk to and question the guide. It was a good introduction to Naples, although had we been in a larger group it would have been very hard to hear the guide. She was quite softly spoken and the background noise is pretty loud.

Incontriamo Sarà , brava e gentile, che in due ore ci spiega i monumenti piiu' mportanti e le vie piiu' caratteristiche. Ci fa idee e spunti interessanti per poi proseguire da soli. Unica nota negativa : gli adolescenti sotto 14 anni non dovrebbero passolutamente pagare quota adultaa intera ma il 50% come ovunque , alttimenti per una famiglia diventa troppo caro un tour di sppema 2 ore.

Devo confermare che e’ stato un investimento di tempo e di denaro assolutamente giusto. La guida, Mario, oltre ad essere assolutamente preparata, ha una vastissima cultura generale e abilita’ nel sintetizzare e nella scelta delle informazioni interessanti. Sono piu’ che soddisfatta, sicuramemte non mi sono annoiata, ho visto zone in cui non sarei sicuramente riuscita ad andare da sola, e lo consigliero’ a tutti.
