    In the middle of Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, a striking spire rises high above the square, topped with a statue of the Virgin Mary. Your private guide will be waiting for you by the spire, holding a nameplate for easy identification.

Pickup details

If you are arriving by cruise ship, simply exit the Cruise Terminal and follow the path to the Service Area. At the end, you’ll find a short tunnel marked with a sign reading “Welcome to Napoli.” Walk through the tunnel, where your private guide will be waiting for you, holding a nameplate with your name. Please note: if your tour starts from the Port of Naples, it will conclude at the Duomo of Naples rather than Piazza del Gesù. Your guide will provide clear instructions on the safest and easiest way to return to the port in time for your cruise departure.

We had an awesome time with Fredrika. She took into consideration of our age and stamina. We rode the train and saw the beautiful churches. She was very peronable and truly loves telling the history of Naples. We ate at pizza house that She goes to and it was so delicious. She is a great asset to the tourist industry!

A great introduction to Naples!

Despite the rainy day (sometimes VERY rainy), Serena was a fantastic guide for our walking tour of Naples from the cruise ship port. She made sure we saw everything we could in the time available and shared so much insight into what we were looking at. We have fond memories of our Napoli experience. One recommendation- with all the construction around the port area, we had a very difficult time finding the meeting location and only due to the kindness of two young ladies who helped us did we ultimately make our way there. More details in the directions on our confirmation would have saved us a lot of frustration and time. The plaza/fountain referred to is no longer visible from the port area. Thank you for considering this improvement.

Maria was a gem!

This was the last stop on our cruise and it was the perfect ending to a great week in the Mediterranean. Maria picked us from the port in a timely fashion and we were on our way. Having been born in Naples, Maria was a true gem! Her passion for the history and culture of her city was truly inspiring. She was able to customize our tour since it was only the 4 of us and we really appreciated her giving her best effort to ensure we had a great taste of Naples. She showed us many areas that we would not necessarily know to go as locals and educated us not only on the history, but on the superstitions of Naples which were very exciting. She also recommended places where locals eat and shop for after our tour which were excellent. Would highly recommend Maria and this tour!

Great Tour of Naples

Our tour guide in Naples was Frederika. She gave us a tour of Naples we never would have done, which made the tour more special. After walking us to the Royal Palace and giving us some history lessons on Naples, Frederika took us into parts of Naples where we could see the locals and how they live. She gave us some great history on the people of Naples, showed us the neighborhoods and markets, and really shared their way of life with us. We also visited a store where we were shown how limoncello is made, which was fun. It was a wonderful experience and Frederika was a joy to meet and spend time with. We booked this tour and told booking agent my wife had walking issues. Were guaranteed that this would not be a problem. My wife was unable to go on the tour and viator refuses to return the portion of the tour for my wife.

Laura showed us everything that we wanted to see in Naples! She provided history and traditions of the area and talked about the changes in Naples itself over time. We had ample time to walk along Spaccanapoli, see the nativity sets, walk into the oldest perfumerie in Naples. She showed her love of the city and traditions and made me appreciate them too. Unfortunately, I though that we had to be back on our ship and we had to cut the trip short, so we couldn't taste Neapolitan pizza but it looked and smelled delicious.

My guide was waiting for us on time just outside the cruise terminal. She took us to see the sites of our choice. We started at the Cathedral and strolled down to the New Church Jesuit. She explained the architecture, saints, culture and historical settings for each site. It was a rewarding morning of discovery.

Our guide, Patricia, whose family has lived in Naples for generations, was enthused about sharing her city with us. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an incredible overview. We met our guide, Fabrizio, at the port as we debarked from the ship. Fabrizio grew up in Naples and had a lot to share about this city. This was our first time in Naples and Fabrizio guided us through the streets and sites of Naples providing a history of the sites we saw and the culture. During the tour, Fabrizio made sure we were comfortable with all the walking. Halfway through the tour, we took a break at a coffee shop and he suggested a pastry to have with our coffee that Naples was famous for. Doing this walk really gave us an in-depth understanding of the people and the city. Fabrizio was the best!
