Beautiful trip with Raffael

I never bother to take the time to post reviews, but I had to make an exception. Our tour with Raffaele as our guide was nothing less than WONDERFUL.. Not only did he expertly navigate the insane traffic of Naples, he just as expertly navigated the crazy, winding roads along the Amlafi coast. And he taught us SO much about everything we were seeing as we went. And to add to that, he treated us like family. His warm, friendly personality really gave us a good feeling for southern Italy and it's people. We are very thankful to Mondo guide and Raffaele for such an amazing experience. Very highly recommended !

The driver did not even drop us off at the port

I can’t hear what the driver Paolo is saying due to the loud air conditioning in the back. I contacted Frederica at the company’s office who said she would fix this with the driver, but this did not happen . At any rate, Paolo’s English is at the level of Naple’s taxi driver, which is to say that it is barely passable getting you from one place to another, but that’s about it. He is not able to explain most of the things we saw, so this is not so much a tour; it is more like a glorified taxi ride. The driver also did NOT take us to the port in the end as indicated at the pages of your program — instead he dropped us off at central station. It wasn’t even just me , an American couple in front of him even asked him directly which direction it was to the port and he went into a speech about how it is better to drop off at the central station as it is closed to everything, and then he proceeded to show the American couple where the port is by pointing his finger in the direction of the port. The older couple who sat next to me also asked him how to go to the port, as he does not want to take us there. I would not recommend this tour . With the amount of money paid, you could just take the hydrofoil from Naples to all the different destinations yourself — you would see the exact same things, with no explanations, and still have money left for a good meal or two.

The tour was good and the towns were beautiful. We only had an hour in Positano and Almalfi. Two on the third stop. I Wish we had more time but it’s a perfect tour to see the three in a single day.

Our driver, Roberto was friendly and his expertise on narrow and busy roads put us at ease. The ad indicated 2 hours in each city (ravello, amalfi, and positano). However, we only spent 1 hour in 2 of the cities.

Our guide, English was very difficult to understand and his van intercom system was of very poor quality. There was 8 of us in the van, unable to hear or understand

What a way to see the Amalfi coast without having to deal with the driving! You get free time to run around each of the 3 spots. Carlo was a great driver, just be aware that it is a drive with many twists and turns so not for the weak stomachs! Carlo did point out some history and some of the ancient steps. Remember this is not a guided tour, but more of a way to get you to see Positano, Amalfi Coast and Ravello and explore a bit on your own. If that's what you're looking for I'd recommend! Of note, they did go above and beyond to accommodate for us when our train to Naples was delayed! Great communication with the team!
