Salvatore was a gracious host to his beautiful city. He brought us to a trattoria in the old part of Milan that was fantastic. After we had a fresh cannoli and some fantastic gelato. The tour of the castle was educational and enlightening. I recommend the tour if you have a few hours to spend in this wonderful city.

This was the worst food tour we have experienced. Do not waste your money. Tour guide barely spoke to us, took us to one restaurant and we grabbed dessert in spot immediately next to restaurant. There was absolutely no tour aspect about this. Horrible experience. We will request a full refund

This was NOT what I was expecting for 6 “award winning” tastings with food. WAY overpriced for what you get. I would maybe pay $50. Tour guide was very nice, and informative. However extremely disappointed at what was offered for a so called award winning food tour.

Our expectation was that we would visit a few restaurants to experience 6 different food and wine tastings of Milan that you wouldn’t find just on your own. We actually only went to one restaurant where we enjoyed a charcuterie tray and 2 drinks. We then had a gelato and a coffee. Disappointing for spending $300. At best it is a $100 value.

It is an absolute scam! It says 10 tastings, it doesn't say that the 10 tastings are 9 types of cheese and sausage, and 1 ice cream. I couldn't believe that was it. Then we went to see a building with trees. The tour guide looked like he hates his job, and the whole trip was just a complete waste of time and money. I am still in shock that I payed for this... DO NOT GO!

I thought it was a food tour. It was not. Sit down charcuterie experience with a glass of “unknown” wine. Walked next door for cannoli. Walked blocks further for an espresso. That was it. $264 Guide was super nice, but this was not a food experience. 5-6 tastings? I’m still confused. Wouldn’t recommend.

Francesca led us on a delightful discovery of amazing Milano food treasures. I thought Baltimore’s Little Italy had wonderful cannoli but the ones of this tour were truly a level all their own. On our subsequent trip to Venice the plentiful cannoli in every window looked paltry and premade in comparison to the ones on Francesca’s tour. On each visit to a delightful shop or restaurant, we were always eating with people from their neighborhoods instead of other tourists. Fortunately, we had climbed to the top of the Duomo earlier in the day, so we could eat this great food guilt free! In between bites, Francesca shared Milano stories and background information.

Our train tracks were in mainenance and we had to get off the train and take a bus. Then we had to get back on a train and go to Milan. The trip was 3 hours late getting into Milan. We missed our tour. No refund or credit due to the fact we did not notify Viator within the alloted 24 hours. Granted those are their rules you read when you purchase a tour. Sometime stuff happens out of your control, they need to change their rules.

Salvatorre was an excellent tour guide and showed us many things but this was supposed to be a food tour. I am a travel agent and Event Planner and I did a food tour with you in 2014 and this one was horrible. I say this because we probably got 30 total euros worth of food and you charge us €200 per person, I am disputing this with my AMEX and I would like a credit !

Our guide, Army, was perfect in every way. He shared a ton of knowledge and we truly did get a genuine taste of Milan and Italy on every level. This tour was one of the highlights of our 12-day trip. It was paced perfectly. Army also offers a pizza-cooking class and I wish we'd had time to do that as well.

We liked the guide , she was friendly and likeable but the tour was awful the tour did not match the description mentioned while booking .
We had the tour for 5 pm and got 4 desserts 2 appetisers and 1 glass of wine .
You should have mentioned it was a dessert tour .
Very disappointed with the tour will never do again or recommend . Sorry

Tour guide was fantastic. No issues there. I want to make that clear. But the $130 each for some pruscetta, coffee, pastry and gelator is an absolute ripoff. Would never do it again

Serena was fabulous. Very patient too as I was in the location at first. She took us to an area of Milan we would have never seen. She was very accommodating to what we all liked to eat. We walked to 5 different restaurants/shops and loved hearing about the history of the area and the food was wonderful. We were stuffed! Would highly recommend.

My daughter, husband and I had a fabulous food tour with “Armi” during our recent stay in Milan. His knowledge of the city and other regions and their connection to different foods was great. Starting w an amazing “street food” from Napoli to fabulous Tuscany farm raised charcuterie boards and specialty coffees and chocolates and gelato it was great! Definitely show up hungry!! We took my other daughter who missed it back to the gelato place after. And had dinner that eve at a handmade pasta place he had recommend in Brera. Was a great way to see the city as well!

With all the COVID-generated craziness we booked everything at the last minute, including this tour. Armando contacted me within minutes of booking and explained that there needed to be more time to make arrangements at restaurants. Totally understandable! We tried to reschedule but out travel plans didn’t allow. Armando recommended canceling but it was inside of 24 hrs. He was able to meet at the time and took us to 5 different local places. Food was great and his commentary was very interesting! My recommendation would be to not show available slots or give warning of lead time needed. Would do it again if had more time.

We met our tour guide Armando who was very nice and personal. We stopped at 5 places and was able to visit the old town to. The tour was lovely but disappointed that it was only 5 stops and not 10. That was the description 10 stops.

We had a very good time in Milano during the tour. Serena was a great host who introduced us to a very nice part of Milano where we also made our 4 stops for the food.
The money was definitely worth the trip. The local food was quite nice and it was great to learn more about Milano/Italy from a local. Finally, we were very pleased to do the tour with a German speaking host, which was unexpected but of great help for those of us who are not proficient in English. Thank you, Serena! A really great way to start a visit to Italy. We were joining a tour group later that day so decided to fill the day with this Milan food tour. Met Serena who introduced us to some of Milan's history and the architecture of the Brera district and then walked the narrow cobblestone streets. We stopped at a deli for a tray of prosciutto, salami, speck, cheeses, fruit, vegetables and a glass of wine. All of it very good. Then on to a gelato shop with choices of about 16 flavors. I had two types of chocolate - oh so very good - like fudge. If that wasn't enough then on to the canoli shop. Oh my - another chocolate delight. Because it was Easter Monday - a Holiday in Italy, many shops were closed including a chocolate shop we would have visited. The streets were full of people with children in strollers and their dogs out for casual strolls. Not in any hurry like Americans. I think we would have taken in more of the sites, except after an international flight we were ready to return to our hotel. We had a little trouble finding the meeting place, even though the address was clear. We asked directions of people we met along the way - they were so helpful, even using their phone to call Serena. Definitely would recommend this tour and Serena who was so delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you.
