Rain was bad and he was very flexible making recommendations
We had a wonderful half day tour with Jason. He picked us up from the hotel in a beautiful BMW, stocked inside with water. He was very outgoing and fun and gave us so many details about Malta as we drove along. The weather was hot but inside the car was perfectly chilled by wonderful A/C. We saw Mdina and a lovely fishing town, with free time in both. Then even got to taste prickly pears which were yummy. It was a really great tour that I can thoroughly recommend to all.
Our half day tour was perfect! Steve was amazing and timed everything perfectly showing us the highlights and filling us in on Malta's long and interesting history/culture. He was so lovely and knowledgeable. We had a really great day with him. Highly recommend!
Host was great, very informative. Learned/saw a lot about the local history and culture. Very comfortable vehicle. Overall well worth the money.
Steve was an absolutely amazing guide and our family had the best day with him! Sometimes private tours can be awkward, especially if the guide is just giving a lengthy canned speech the entire time. That was not at all the case here. Steve was super knowledgeable about his home country and the tour was very conversational and interesting.
The timing of the tour was perfect -- it was a hot day so the tour struck a great balance of driving in the AC and stopping at the sites. The free time at various stops was timed exactly right.
All in all, the tour couldn't have been better!
Excellent tour! Communication was great with the agency before the tour, and Steve picked us up at the cruise port exactly where they directed us. The van was clean and air conditioned, which was wonderful on a very hot day. Steve provided great info on Malta, the people, the economy, and all of the different sites we visited. The tour gave us great perspective on Malta - would definitely recommend it!
Pretty average tour. The driver said I’m not a tour guide, he was just a driver. Went to a few places, but it was not informative at all. Walked rather fast also.
Steve was a wonderful guide and let us extend our trip by 2 hours so we could see more and explore the island better. Highly recommended!

Jason was an incredible guide. He has a wealth of knowledge about his country and culture. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to get out of the city and explore. The car was comfortable and luxurious. His driving was safe and smooth.

He showed us so many of Malta’s most important and beautiful highlights, and his local knowledge really made a difference. Since Jason was born and raised in Malta, you can really feel his pride and passion for Malta throughout the tour.
A long and busy half day tour to the key sites around Malta. We had 4.5 hours with John in his comfy car. He is an enthusiastic tour guide.

I had born and bred in Malta, John, as my private tour guide/driver. He provided lots of insight in to life in Malta, its history, traditions etc. He got the door for me at every opportunity and was happy to detour for me so I could see one of the sights that wasn’t on the itinerary (I did for-go something on the itinerary that I wasn't interested earlier).
It was a lovely afternoon out exploring beautiful Malta.

This is a wonderful overview of the island of Malta. You’ll see the major sights and spend time to explore the areas highlighted. Simon was great and shared many insights to the island and the history. We added a lunch stop and a couple of hours to the tour. We should have clarified the additional cost, but it was reasonable, our time was limited and we wanted to see all we could of the island. We’d highly recommend this tour and Simon was wonderful!

This tour was so breath taking and amazing! The views were gorg! The history behind the city is so interesting! Our tour guide took us everywhere and explained to us everything! I loved it! He even got us some yummy local pastries! They were so yummy! The churches were so pretty and the buildings! The tour guide was so sweet and so fun! He told us everything about Malta and showed us around all the cool filming spots! The old town was so pretty and they have this very good ice cream flavor there! We saw some very cool ruins and even a world war 2 bunker!

We really enjoyed our day with Jason as our driver. We got a very good overview of the island and learned so much! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I was impressed with the access and instruction that he provided for us to visit the rotunda in Mosta and the underground shelter. We stopped at the cliffs for photos and got the opportunity to try passion fruit - yum! The visit to Mdina was a little short, but we had enough time to shop and explore a little bit. Sadly the windy conditions made it not possible to take a boat ride, but we loved chatting with him on top of the grotto overlooks and getting some photos. We had a quick unexpected visit to a 'stonehenge' like achaeological site, as well. At the end of our tour we were blessed with gifts - a Malta magnet, a pastry, and a personalized photo that he took of us - before he left us to explore the charming streets of Valletta on our own, with instructions on how to return to the cruise ship. All in all, we loved his professionalism and personality, and his obvious love and pride for his country and his job. We highly recommend this private tour! A lot of value in a very personalized setting.
Our group of eight people did the half-day tour of Malta today. Our guide, Steve, picked us up right on time next to the cruise terminal, brought us to all of the highlights, and was lots of fun. He’s extremely knowledgeable about Malta, and we could not have asked for more. Highly recommended!!!
