Amazing! Jaime me covered all the major artworks with great knowledge and care. He was unbelievably helpful and responsive and organized. When we had trouble getting museum tickets, he helped tremendously.

Jaime Sanchez is a very cordial guide with a deep knowledge of art. We went to The Prado museum with him and he made this experience ever so much more worthwhile than if we had gone to the museum solo. His selection of paintings at The Prado was especially well curated. In sum, if you are going to The Prado in Madrid, your visit will be immeasurably enhanced by having Jaime as your guide.

Jaime is a wonderful, engaging, and effective presenter of the sweep of historical Spanish painting contained within the Prado Museum. He has carefully selected examples from the dizzying collection of European art from Gothic through 19th Century. My wife and I heartily enjoyed the experience.

The Prado is such an amazing museum and the collection is beyond extraordinary... that being said I cannot imagine trying to navigate that impressive and large collection without an expert to help guide you through the important pieces... otherwise you would get overwhelmed in the first hour. Jaime was simply amazing and his passion for the artwork is not only obvious, it is contagious. He was so helpful in explaining why certain pieces of art were considered important and was able to place them in a context to flow from one era to the next. Looking at the art through his eyes and with his explanations was so powerful that I stayed after the tour and actually went back to the pieces he discussed to impress on my memory everything he mentioned.

I went to the Prado because I knew I should but Jaime's tour has made me want to come back. The Prado is large and overwhelming but by selecting his favorite pieces thru the centuries to share with us his passion was infectious. He's knowledgeable and engaging. The hours flew by and I was actually sad when it was over. Do not hesitate to book this tour. Jaime is the perfect guide!

Jaime is an amazing tour guide. The number of pieces here is overwhelming. He choice 25 masterpieces to show us which made for a delightful tour and allowed him to go in depth for each piece and the artists’ history etc. he is very open to questions and keeps his groups small so it is truly an experience personalized to the group. My adult children and I had an amazing time and learned a lot!! Thank you, Jaime!!

The Prado is very big, and the collection can be overwhelming, so this tour was the right amount of time to take a bite into some really important pieces/artists. Our guide, Jaime, did a great job. I think we all felt that we learned a lot, and my regret was having scheduled a train reservation right after the tour. If I had to do it again, I would have given us a few hours to peruse the museum more, especially after what felt like a great introduction.

Jaime was an excellent guide for the Prado. He curated a selection of the best pieces for us to see, using his own extensive knowledge and experience supported by additional photos and images to enable us to see details that normally distances from the art do not easily allow. Jaime was entertaining, informative, and took us on a historical, and visual tour of some of the worlds masterpieces. I wish I could use him for all the museums in Madrid!! Highly recommended!!

Jaime was a wonderful guide that really brought the art and history to life with narratives in an engaging tour around the museum. This is our first ever museum tour which felt a little daunting at the start but Jaime was very warm and friendly. We would never have been able to appreciate the art without all the stories. Jaime Sanchez tour guide was superb and a perfect representative for these Viator tours. he was very well prepared, organized and knowledgeable on the Prado. he handled the tour participants expertly and very accommodating. His background and knowledge of teh Prado was evident and he kept everyone engaged and involved in the discussion.
it is such an overwhelming museum with the immense # of works you could get lost in there and be completely overwhelmed. This tour focused you on key periods and art movements and select works discussing other works but keeping the focus on a specific # of key art works. Jaime could definitely provide an all day tour going through many more artworks and pieces and it would certainly be engaging. You will book this tour and want to book another. Ask for Jaime you will NOT be disappointed with the knowledge of the Prado you will receive.
