The dinner and entertainment was good. You will have only one selection for the meal. On other cruises, I have had choices of meals. According to the jazz singer who interrupted her singing, we were having to stop/dock mid-cruise to take on food so we could be served dinner. When we boarded the boat, we were seated in a window seat and as the other guests were coming on board, the waiter came up to us and apologized as he said he had seated my wife and I in the wrong seat and asked us to move to an interior one over from that window seat. When asked if we would like a drink, I ordered a double bourbon with a 'splash of Coke'. I received what appeared to be a single over ice with a can of Coke. I don't think it is classy to put a can of Coke on a dinner table in that setting. When we paid the additional charge for the drinks before disembarking, the can of coke was on the bill for 2 pounds 7. When I inquired about that I was told that they cannot do a splash of coke and I was charged for the entire can. Forgive me but I could have been told that when I ordered.
The sights from the boat were good and the music was also. We both agreed that the dinner cruise the night before in Paris was far superior to this experience.

The Music and cruise was good. The main course of the dinner was not to my liking. I did speak to the manager that the Duck served was very dry and she agreed it would be better with a sauce.

Now to take it. The food was awful and not good or appealing. Would not recommend it. We set still for 30-40 minutes, don’t know why. They charge for everything, didn’t even get a drink with your meal. The worst dinner cruise I’ve ever taken.and a waste of time and money. Can believe I spend over three hundred dollars on that.

Poor signage where to go, food leaves a lot to be desired, staff not too helpful. But, if you go anyway, on the return trip go to the open air upper deck. Great views made up for the poor performance of the above.

Book it way ahead of time in order to get a window seat. We did not, but someone didn’t show, I asked, and they moved my wife and I to that window table. I’ve seen a few reviews complaining about how tight the tables are together, which would be true if it were sold out, but our cruise wasn’t that full so they spaced everyone out nicely. Just a wonderful evening on the river, good jazz band, good food. Also very much appreciate that it’s a kid free event. Would recommend!

When we booked the trip it showed different menus for dinner, we chose two vegeterian lasagnas. When we arrived they only had duck, they said we didn’t chose from the menu. The manager didn’t gave us any solution, he claimed they didn’t have anything else to eat. So two members of the party couldn’t have dinner which by the way wasn’t cheap. We called Viator and never picked up the phone. Terrible service

The views and the food were great. Jazz band was amazing. Only complaint we had was the service. It was very slow. Our table got skipped for drinks many times. And we asked for coffee and never got it. Even though the table next to us did. Overall had a great time though.

My wife and I have been on dinner cruises in numerous countries. This, by a wide margin, was the best one we have ever been on. The boat was nice and comfortable. The staff was very attentive but not obtrusive. The duck was great. I felt like they gave a whole experience that was wonderful. Oh, and the jazz band did a phenomenal job.

While the cruise was fun with the band, the food was terrible. I vomited literally once of the boat and several times in arriving home. Plus, it was disappointed and upsetting that we did not arrive back at the same port. That was first announced on the boat. I budgeted to walk home from Westminster pier and I ended up having to pay over 20 pounds for an Uber. The band was exceptional though.

Disappointing. The music was lovely, but the menu offered NO CHOICE for dinner (unless you knew to order ahead of time for vegetarian, vegan, etc), which was not identified anywhere on the ticket. As a result we paid $200/per person and my husband was not able to eat anything (appetizer was pork, main dish duck). The waiter did not offer, but manager told us after the fact that we could have asked for something else.

It was organized and roomy. There was some room to roam around. The Jazz band was pretty good and we enjoyed the music. We were charged for a double gin and tonic when we ordered a single. Overall the evening was very enjoyable.

The meal and jazz band was great but be careful of the timing. We were told to be at the boat 15 min before the sailing time of 8pm , we turned up at 20min to 8 and the boat was almost ready to go and all the seats by the window had been allocated. Boat left at 7.50pm 10min before the time given.

We had a lovely time! The dinner was delicious and the music very good. Next time will try to make sure we get a window table.
Just an observation, the lentils were delicious, since i love lentils. However, as an only option as side for meat eaters in a country where its not actually that common in restaurants, it's not ideal. I'm saying this because my husband doesn't like lentils and so for him the main ended up being just the duck leg in itself.

Well, overall the boat ride was cool! The down side was the dinner menu. I thought it was bad, someone else might think it’s great🤷🏽♂️. They should’ve offered a couple different dishes and not one, duck! The whole dinner menu trying to be gourmet didn’t do much for me. The band and singer were awesome! The band did a great job! Drinks were ok. Dinner for me didn’t seal the deal!

Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Every part of the booking, confirmation, itinerary, virtual tickets and PDF printed tickets all stated 8pm so we arrived for 8pm to see the boat already sailing away down the Thames only to be told by a pier staff member boarding is at 7:30! Totally disappointed as we were really looking forward to this and want a full refund. I have emailed and would like a response as the attraction itself looks great and even the tour operator advise when booking directly to get there for 7:30 but through Viator shockingly bad information!

It was a joint birthday celebration - something we do each year, and each year we try something new. The idea of a Thames Cruise dinner was interesting, and the Jazz package was a no-brainer as we all love jazz music.
Boarding was smooth and the meal was delicious (although the service could have been sharper; there didn’t seem to be any order to it and we had to call to be served our starter). The cruise was smooth, benefitting from great weather on the night, and the jazz band was simply brilliant.
It was exactly how we wanted to round off our month of birthdays, and we’re already looking for the next opportunity for a Thames Cruise event!
