Itinerary
Your tour begins at a central meeting point. Greet your guide here, don a helmet, and select a bike suited to your size before cycling on Southbank towards the Tate Modern, housed in the former Bankside power station.
Continue past Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, a riverside replica of the original Elizabethan theater, and then park your bikes at Borough Market to browse enticing food stalls brimming with local produce. Sated by a selection of the city’s best street food, you’ll pedal across Tower Bridge to absorb views of London’s ever-growing skyline, home to The London Shard and The Gherkin.
Your next stop is the Docklands, an industrial labyrinth full of warehouses and alleyways. Stop to purchase a drink at a waterside pub before you cycle through the Square Mile, London’s former financial district.
Architecture enthusiasts will be delighted by the structural splendor of places such as Mansion House and the Royal Exchange as your guide leads you towards the City of London. Your bike tour culminates with a stop at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the unrivaled masterpiece of Sir Christopher Wren, where you pose for photographs before returning to your original departure point.

The bike tour was led by Chris, a great story teller with a good sense of humor. He was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions at any time. Our tour was off the beaten track but also included larger significant attractions. We stopped for a bite to eat or a pint if you wished. The tour was 3.5 hours long and included intimate and not so intimate parts of London. I definitely would not have gotten around to many of the attractions and sights we visited on my own. Chris kept our small crew together and led us safely through the streets. Cheers to Chris, the shop owner and employees, everyone was pleasant and helpful.

This was a great tour including parts of London we wouldn't have discovered on our own. We rode over the tower bridge, saw the financial district, a Victorian era covered market, borough market, quiet canals, a tunnel covered in murals/street art, and stopped at spots with amazing views for photos. Loved it!

Doug took our group on a fun and interesting tour of London. His wit and insight into history along with unique stories about the city made this an enjoyable morning. You can tell Doug is passionate about his city and wants to share that love with visitors. An added bonus to our tour was when Queen Elizabeth passed us in a motorcade! She even waved and acknowledged the cheers for her!
