I spent nine hours with Aidan!
I did the original two hour SOHO Punk tour THEN spent the day with him in Ladbroke and Camden on a Clash pilgrimage. My heart was full and I was whooped, but nothing a little rest didn't cure.
This man knows his stuff. If you aren't familiar with him, look him up. From managing bands to having a current radio show, he has been around and walked the walk. He is not for the timid- he speaks his mind, is expressive and the real deal.
He is quite passionate about the Sex Pistols and The Clash, but he was sure to talk about many other punk and post-punk bands and performers who played in these areas. He walked us through the very busy streets, passed many now closed spaces, shared the stories of his childhood and what it was like to be a teenager in the time of the Pistols as well as how they became what and who they were with some very influential behind-the-scene influences. From the attire to the personas, it was a lived experience for him.
If there are particular people you want to learn about, such as Bauhaus or Bowie, Siouxsie or Billy Idol- he has a story and a space to share.
When it came to The Clash (Ladbroke and Camden areas), wow- this tour was amazing! From Strummer's first home he purchased with royalties, to where he squatted as an up and coming musician, where the 101ers played, where White Riot occurred, to the stairs where they debut album was shot and SO MUCH MORE.
We even went to the pharmacy where the video for House of Fun by Madness was filmed.
Camden is full of historic concert venues and memories, and crowded AF. But, there is a great record Punk store there with very reasonable tees called All Ages Records.
Post-tour, he sends more information and history for you to reference your tour. It is well worth your time and money if you want to learn about the true Brit punk scene.
It was also 80 degrees, which is not hot for me, but it was humid. Bring your water and be ready to navigate the crowds.
A fantastic walkthrough of the punk scene back in the day. I felt the history as we walked the streets. A must do for any music fan. My wife is a big punk fan, I knew some.. but had no idea the history Aiden talked about. This was my favorite tour. Don’t miss it
It is a lot of walking, but absolutely worth it! Tour guide is amazing a true punk. Learned so much about the history and my 16yr old nephew loved it as he is beginning his journey into punk!

Aidan gives a fabulous tour of SoHo and shares the history of punk along with his own personal experiences. We highly recommend it! We’ll be doing his Clash tour the next time we come back to London.
The only real punk tour you need in London. It was wonderful to get stories from someone who was actually there during it all.

If you’re reading this review chances are you have GREAT taste in music and are looking to dive into the places and times that shaped British punk, well LOOK NO FURTHER my friend! Aiden is a deeply knowledgeable, super authentic, down to earth and cool as hell kind of guy. He’s not only factual but shares his lived experience of the mid seventies and what it was like to be in the clubs and on the streets. Aiden also shared great tips on the best places to go and businesses to support while you’re in the city. If you’re going to spend money on any tour in London let it be this one. DO NOT MISS OUT!
This tour is heavy on the history of British Punk and especially on the Sex Pistols. After this tour, you'll be able to walk London with the confidence of knowing the significance of punk.

If you are a fan of punk music, or want to understand the history of British music from the seventies, Aidan is the most magnificent guide. A wonderful way to experience the music of our youth.
The leader gave a great tour, was super friendly and funny and had all kinds of knowledge of the 70s punk scene and music in general. Hearing from someone who was actually there was great!
This tour was amazing! I loved walking around Soho and hearing about the history of punk that happened there. Aiden, our guide, was AMAZING! He was funny, passionate about the material, and really knew his stuff. He was there when it happened! I was listening to his every word. Definitely my favorite thing I did on the trip!
Aidan was a fun guide. It was engaging to take walk down memory lane. Although all but one of the locations has been turned over Aidan did a great job thru story and photos to give a great representation of the times.
Our guide was highly informative and really knew his punk history, having lived through it himself. He also brought photos which really brought the past back.
Aiden does a terrific job of telling the story of punk rock. A lot of places are gone but he has pictures to help bring the scene to life.

Aiden is an engaging, enthusiastic and knowledgable guide with an irreverent sense of fun. The walk takes 2.5 hours - but at most you walk for two minutes between stops, at which point Soho landmarks, rehearsal studios, recording studios, venues and famous moments in punk rock history are pointed out to you.
Can’t recommend highly enough, especially for what he charges. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

This tour was well worth it. Aidan was a funny and knowledgeable guide who you could tell really cares about punk rock and its place in musical and cultural history. It was cool to see the sites where the Pistols, the Clash and others played and learn more about the birth of punk. Lots of funny anecdotes and quips from a guy who was there as an impressionable youth. And I learned more about history in general than I was expecting. Highly recommend.
If you're a fan of early punk rock and want to learn the real story from a witness, this is your tour. We loved the detailed storytelling and our guide also dispelled some common myths. Walk very manageable for all ages and the Denmark Street info worth the small price of this one. Highly recommend
