Really not worth the money. So sorry we didn’t just get an audio tour there. Aviator just brought us in, gave a few facts to us and left us after 10 mins.

Hot as hell! Air conditioning would be nice.🔥
Lovely museum but insanely hot and humid. Now the British part was air conditioned, just do better and do the whole building.

Viator did not refund my money even

Just to confirm this ticket says it gives audio tour and priority entrance. It does not give you entry to the museum and you need to purchase a separate ticket (albeit it is free). We went on Saturday and thought this would give us entrance but it didn’t and all entrance tickets were sold already.

The British Museum was great — it exceeded my expectations! Appreciated the quicker access to enter the Museum with this ticket, the weather was terrible and the queues were still long. The tour host also helped me to download the audio guide.

Did not receive audio book!
Museum itself is quite good and we enjoyed it but if I’m paying for the audio tour then at least provide information on how and where can I collect it from because museum staff didn’t check the tickets in details nor did they were asking anyone whether they need audio book

Terrible awful complete rip off. No priority entrance, next to impossible to find the contact. 30people standing 15 minutes from the museum with one person trying to download audios on phones Paid 64 pounds for an audio that is free once inside the museum and the TICKETS ARE FREE TO THE MUSEUM complete scam

We bought to kets with audi tours from Viator but the location was very vague not near the museum and the museum said that they do not recognize viator tickets. Actually tickets were not nevessary at all and they let us enter for free.
I paid for four tickets with Audio tours but it was waste of money.
There was no person standing anywhere near the museum in the front and back entrance.
This was a poor arrangement from viator and i am scared to book any more tickets from Lndon or other countries if this was like a scam.

Viator only supplies a download of an app. You must listen to the commentary thru your phone.
There is no plug-in device supplied! For the hearing-impaired, this does NOT work in a centuries-old stone building w/no sound-proofing!
This needs to be CLEARLY spelled out.. It was not.
The few other reviews were mixed as far as access/sound quality regarding the commentary so I dont know how worthwhile it might have been.
Rachel, the VoxCity tour supplier, was a GREAT help thru trying to resolve this problem.

This tour is a total SCAM - do not book this tour! In order to pick up the tickets there is a shady “meet” site at a fountain in a park about 7 mins away. No one showed up, never answered phone calls and never answered texts. Viator customer service could not reach them either. Horrible experience and Viator should not work with this company. I expect more from them. Even the Viator rep was not very helpful. Zero stars. There was no priority entrance. The museum is free and offer an audio tour for 3 pounds. This tour is a scam based upon my experience. Viator should have done more due diligence. BAD!

I was never provided a way to get in touch with the tour guide that I was instructed to meet up with to get our tickets and audio tour. We ran into problems with transportation (the bus stopped in the middle of the trip and told everyone to just get off where we were) and we were about 20 minutes late for our meeting time. Since i had no way of letting them know, by the time we followed the complicated instructions to find the meeting place (which isn't really at the museum, it's at the square one block over at an abandoned restaurant), the guide had already left. We tried to use our voucher to at least get into the museum but it didn't work. I would recommend another company.

We could not reach the guide to get the ticket , nobody was available at the address given so we made a complaint to the museum management that your company had a fraudulent act. We will follow up the case and ask for refund of the paid amount. We already circulate warning messages for tourists and continue to do the same. Museum has been acknowledged about your fraudulent act.
