We only had a short bit of time and this was worth the cost. The guide was fantastic, he provided amazing information, he got us to all of the really great places in the BM; amazing tour!?!?

Very fast overview of the British Museum, but highly informative. Jack was super knowledgeable and excited about the exhibits. Highly recommend especially if you’re time limited.

Jack was fantastic! Only regret is not booking a longer tour so Jack could share even more knowledge. We were able to share what we absolutely wanted to see before the tour so Jack could tailor the tour to make sure we hit the highlights and more. We highly recommend the tour to everyone. The museum is huge and having a guide was extremely helpful!

Jon was an amazing tour guide and he fully understood our preference for a "highlights" tour of this massive museum. He knows the museum layout very well, and we were able to see many remarkable exhibits during our tour. He asked, in advance, what we wanted to focus on, and he took it from there. We very much enjoyed his narration and his extensive knowledge of the museum's holdings and the history of the pieces we viewed. What a pleasure to have such an informed and expert guide for our visit! We recommend asking for Jon - he is a joy to spend time with.

Larry guided us through the museum to the most unique and popular exhibits. Seeing mummies, the Holy Thorn reliquary, and the bog man! We saw more in the 1-1/2 hour tour than we would have done on our own in a whole day!

Jack, our personal guide, was friendly and enthusiastic. He is very knowledgeable about many things of an archaeological nature. He was also very excited to show/share many of the highlights of the British Museum. The one-and-a-half hour tour passed very quickly. We should have taken the longer tour as we only scratched the surface. A very good tour with a great guide!!!

This tour was so fun and educational! I would recommend it to anyone that wants to maximize their experience at the British Museum. Jack (our guide) shepherded us through the crowds so that we had the opportunity to see more, without the stress of competing with hundreds of other people. Jack's enthusiasm and knowledge really made it fun. It was GREAT!

I have visited the museum before, but I’ve found in my travels that a docent lead tour is worth the money. I was shown interesting exhibits and given in depth explanations beyond my expectations. It was great!

Jack was our personal guide, and he was amazing. He was passionate and very knowledgable about the history of the items that he took us to see. In the 2.5 hours that we had with him, he selected items that matched our interest, and saved us from being overwhelmed by the huge numbers of items in the museum. We were delighted to be able to see the Rosetta Stone, for which Jack organised entry for us to the special exhibition. He made sure to include my 13 year old grandson in all of his conversations, and ensured that he answered all of his questions and followed up on his interests. It was a fabulous experience for us both.

Loved this tour! Our guide was professional, knowledgeable j all the exhibits and entertaining as well. He wisked us through the crowds to the museum highlights, which saved us tons of time if we had instead tried to do this on our own. He asked if we had any specific interests and made sure the tour covered those areas as well. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

This was a great intro to the museum for kids who do not like museums. It kept their attention and they absolutely loved it. The knowledge was deep enough to provide nuance and contextual history and perspective museum for lovers as well. Would highly recommend!!
