It was a fantastic day, weather was great. Del the tour guide was really entertaining, experienced all the sights, that I never thought I would see. Ending the tour at the Cavern Club put the exclamation point to the tour.

There aren't any signs leading to Albert Dock when arriving at Liverpool Station. The walk to the dock is not leisure...it's 1.5 miles navigating crowded and uneven cobblestone streets. Transport to the dock would have been nice. Not enough time at the stops during the bus tour. We wanted to get back to London on an earlier train and tickets are not eligible for exchange. The only good thing was our tour guide Del and bus driver Steve. They were absolutely wonderful. Also dropped off in a different location and had to walk .5 miles back to train station. Also additional walking is required to get to the cavern. For that price there should have been transport to eveything.

The Beatles Story was outstanding. The challenge was that it took us over an hour to walk from the train station to the event. The directions were nearly nonexistent so we were late for the tour. Luckily the museum was very cooperative. This is not the first time this vendor has provided bad information.

I chose this tour because I wanted guidance with getting around Liverpool. They are not kidding when they say it is self directed. We had to ask people how to get to the docks and it was pouring rain. We should have been given some direction as it is NOT marked at all near rail station. The Beatles museum and Magical Mystery Tour were great. Liverpool is a very nice city but since it was pouring, we wanted to leave when tour was over around 230. Our train tickets were for 643 PM. The tickets were not exchangeable so we paid for earlier ticket rather than hanging around in our damp clothes in a drafty train station. I would have been better off booking my own train tickets and Beatles tour vs paying Viator to do it as I had to do everything myself anyway.

a worthwhile but expensive one day trip because I booked first class on the train. Food was OK but liked the fact it was less crowded and less hassles. Magical Mystery tour was well done BUT they missed the opportunity to take us to the Beatles sculptures as part of the tour.

The Beatles experience lived up to expectations. It was setup in a way that made for a well-organized day, but we still felt like we could do ‘our own thing’ enough. The highlight was certainly the Magical Mystery Tour. So many amazing things to see for Beatle fans. When they say it’s a self-guided day, that’s true. But having tickets for everything in advance made it all very easy. If you’re good with getting the train and finding your way to the dock (it’s about a 15 minute walk downhill), you’ll be fine. Would definitely recommend this package!

it was great seeing the Beatles homes and where they grew up, it would have been really great if we could have seen the inside of their homes. The cavern was a must see and one could imagine the young Beatles rocking out there.

The Avanti high speed train to Liverpool from London was a delight; quiet, comfortable and smooth. It was a 20 minute walk from Liverpool Lime station to the Royal Albert Docks where the Beatles Story is located. The museum was very nicely laid out and self guided using provided headphones. The Magical Mystery Tour started right next door and was skillfully narrated by Del and we had a great ride thanks to Dennis. We saw where all The Beatles lived and visited many sites referenced in their music. The tour ended at The Cavern Club which was rocking with music. A short 18 minute walk back to the train station and we were back in London with great memories of Beatlemania. Highly recommended!

Liverpool was great. The Beatles story and the Magical Mystery Tour were amazing. We learned so much and have an even greater appreciation for the Beatles.
What was not great is that once we got to Liverpool, we had no idea how to get to where we were going. A little direction would have saved us some time and effort trying to piece it together.

I had a wonderful day in Liverpool and loved everything. The Beatles Experience, Magical Mystery Tour and Cavern Club are not to be missed. Even ardent Beatle fans will learn something new. However, this is NOT a group guided tour day. You are on your own for finding everything and getting everywhere. The Liverpool train station is not visitor friendly or well signed and you are still reliant on google maps or uber to get you to the Dock. Even when you get there the Beatles Ecperience is not easy to find. I could have easily booked all these myself and had exactly the same day, possibly for less. But I loved every minute and this itinerary is ideal. Just don't expect it to be guided or without confusion. Educate yourself before you go.
