This tour turned out to be part of a larger day tour so most people on the activity continued on to La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal Volcano. Not a big deal but we weren't expecting the group to be split.
Our guide Chino was amazing and showed us a ton of wildlife including toucans, pit vipers, and various other birds and frogs. Mystico is a beautiful park and even if you don't see much wildlife the setting is fabulous.

Our guide Chino was amazing and showed us a ton of wildlife including toucans, pit vipers, and various other birds and frogs. Mystico is a beautiful park and even if you don't see much wildlife the setting is fabulous.

We really enjoyed this tour. We met the operator in downtown La Fortuna and rode in a comfy van from there. Our group was 10 so not too big for us all to see and hear. Will our guide was fun, friendly and knowledgeable, spotting several small frogs, snakes, lizards and tarantulas for us. We also saw great views of spider monkeys and howler monkeys. Sadly, no sloths on this trip. But Mistico was beautiful, offering amazing views of the canopy, valley and our best view of Arenal of the trip. Highly recommend.

Not a whole lot to see.
You have to be really keen on hanging bridges to appreciate this expensive commercial tourism experience
There are many more interesting things to see/do in Costa Rica

We’re sorry to hear that the tour didn’t fully match your expectations. La Fortuna is one of the most visited places in Costa Rica, and during global holiday seasons it becomes even more crowded, so it’s normal for the area to feel busy.
Our group sizes follow the standard used by many companies worldwide, as they allow for better control and more engagement with our guests. However, we can’t control how many other groups are ahead of us or behind us on the trail — we simply adapt and do our best to give everyone a great experience.
It’s a bit surprising to hear that you felt there wasn’t much to see, especially considering that Costa Rica holds over 5% of the world’s biodiversity, and the hanging bridges you visited are part of that natural treasure. The animals are free in their own habitat, so sightings can vary, but the forest is always full of life — trees, plants, insects, and all the green gold that makes this place so special for anyone willing to look.
As you mentioned, there are many amazing things to do in our country. Before choosing an activity, we always recommend planning based on what you’re looking for (fun, knowledge, physical activity, etc.) so you can select the option that suits you best.

What a beautiful way to experience the rainforest! Our guide was amazing by giving us close-up views of the monkeys and so much knowledge about the rainforest.

Enjoyable and fascinating hike through the rainforest and swinging bridges with many encounters with spider monkeys, sloths, vipers, unique birds, non-stinging bees and tarantulas near La Fortuna. Beautiful Arenal views and pretty waterfall. Juan Carlos is a passionate and engaging guide and transport was comfortable in small group van.

This was a great tour. We loved the Mistico Hanging Bridges, the wildlife, our guide Val was great!! We saw lots of frogs, snakes, birds, a waterfall.....no sloths though, which was a bummer, but it's wildlife. We were the first one's picked up, so it was a long time on the bus before getting to the bridges.

This tour was everything it was advertised to be. We were picked up at our house in very nice vans, and taken directly to the entrance. We got information and recommendations on the way. Our trek was paced just right, and even those in our group who are moderately fit had no trouble. We went in the afternoon, so saw less animals than we hoped, but missed the large morning crowds.

I wish I could give the tour 10 stars!! Carlos was such an amazing tour guide. He’s so knowledgeable and engaging. This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip. We got lucky because the park was not busy at all when we were there. No wait times to cross bridges or anything like that. My friend and I were also the only people in the group tour (I think they may have not gotten a lot of sign ups because of heavy rain earlier in the day) so the tour was very personalized and we got to go at our own pace. We could not believe some of the animals that Carlos was able to spot at such a distance. It really was incredible. Some highlights were seeing a sloth and an eyelash pit viper. Thank you for the amazing tour, Carlos! It really made our trip.

The park is beautiful and our guide, Roy, was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, plants and trees and insects. He spotted things we never would have seen. He also answered questions about local places to shop and eat. Highly recommend!!

Juan Carlos was such a great guide in our January tour we requested him for our second tour in February. Juan Carlos is extremely knowledgeable and clearly explains everything. He was happy to answer everyone’s questions, even the unending questions of an 8 year old. The scenery is beautiful as were the birds and wildlife we saw. He made sure we all got great pictures of them all. I recommend this tour as a must do.

It's a great tour. What a way to walk through the jungle. Do this with a guide, you'll see twice as much and learn about what you're hearing.

Good views and our guide was very helpful and informative. He found lots of cool wildlife for us and took our pictures many times. Take the early tour, it's not as busy. Later in the day as we were walking outside of town, just taking in the sights, our guide stopped as he drove by asking if we wanted a ride back to town. We told him thank you but we wanted to walk. Thought it was pretty cool that he remembered us 6-7 hours after the first tour of the morning.

This was a great tour for our family. Fabrizio was very knowledgeable about animals and plants. We learned so much and saw tons of insects, flora/fauna, and animals. The views and bridges were fantastic! It is definitely worth getting a private tour!

We took the tour at night...and were lucky to catch a full moon. Our guide was fabulous. Informative and truly loved what he was doing which made it more interesting for us. To see ALL the eyes out at night under the moonlight was breathtaking. And traversing the bouncing bridges in the dark was something my entire family will never forget. Our guide was amazing at finding the creatures of the night for us to look at. I highly recommend this tour!

Lindo paseo pero el recorrido se hace muy rápido y no deja apreciar la naturaleza. Recomiendo prolongar la visita para poder detenerse por máa tiempo en el bosque y apreciar la vegetación y los animales.
