Guide was very good. Even in pouring rain, he still managed to find some unusual species (including a leafturner) and got me some lifers. He also found a cool viper snake we would have missed.

Nice walk in a beautiful parc, a lots of birds a few lizards and loos of monkeys. The bridges are great . The only thing we miss was the water what should be included...

Showed up and they had no reservation for me. Because of that they had no guide. They offered for me to come back in 45 minutes and pay again. DONT BOOK.

Our tour guide was DONALD; he was fantastic. He could mimic a birdcall perfectly and his expertise at identifying the sound, identifying which tree it came from and locating the actual bird was truly impressive. I'm not a birdwatcher, but my spouse is, and this is the first birdwatching tour I've ever done. It was truly THRILLING, and we've gone zip lining, whitewater rafting, sloth sighting, etc all on this trip so far - but this was our favorite activity.

We did not see many animals during the tour. Although our guide was doing his best, we think the tour was overpriced and we won't recommend it.

We had an amazing tour!! We would not have seen most of the birds & wildlife without our guide Gabriel- he is extremely knowledgeable about all the species of birds as well as the other wildlife, plants & trees, mushrooms, snakes, bugs etc. We also had the whole park nearly to ourselves for almost the whole tour. A few highlights were motmots, coati, spider monkeys were in the trees right over our heads, eyelash viper, and many many species of birds. We walked with pauses to look at various birds etc for about 3 hours. The paths were mostly smooth & easy to walk on. We walked about 8000 steps - he had us decide from a couple of map options our preference & we chose one with more bridges- which was fun & gave spectacular views.
There is significant up & down hills. One in our family group leaned on a railing & got bit or stung by a bb ant (not a bullet ant but still painful). It's the real rainforest experience. The drive is about 30 minutes from LaFortuna. The bridges themselves sway a bit and bounce up & down. Originally some family members in their 80's one with cane use were going to go, and this would not be a good choice for those with mobility issues, unable to walk a few miles etc. They decided not to go. There are motor scooters that we saw near the entrance but I am.not sure where they are able to go. I'd call or reach out before doing that. It didn't seem like they would work on the trails or bridges but definitely inquire.
This was truly a must see and a real rainforest experience. Well worth the tour.

One of the best guided tours of our vacation. Our tour guide (Anderson) was very knowledgeable and patient. It rained for most of the walk so we did not see a ton of birds, but he pointed out multiple birds, lizards, bats, snakes and frogs. Walking across the hanging bridges made it even better. We toured with a large family group of 14 - and the only disappointment was the transportation from our hotel to the park. (There were not enough seats in the van for our party.) Once we arrived, we found the guide to be knowledgeable and engaging. The park is absolutely beautiful! We saw many lovely birds, flowers and even spider monkeys!

Our tour guide, Victor, was very knowledgeable and really good at spotting and pointing out the wildlife. The park and hanging bridges were amazing. When I booked the tour it said it included transportation, but when I tried to arrange transportation they said it was not and there would be an additional charge. Luckily we had a car, but that was frustrating.

Henderson was knowledgeable and spotted a snake, bats and lézard that we would have never saw. It rained almost the entire time of the tour which made it difficult to observe birds. Nevertheless a beautiful walk in the trails.

This was one of my favorite nature tours in Costa Rica. My guide Indira was absolutely AMAZING and extremely knowledgable about the wildlife and nature we encountered. Her enthusiasm made for such an enjoyable visit and we saw an abundance of reptiles (vipers) and insects (like the odd but fascinating stick bug). This tour is definitely not just sitting and watching birds and is SO MUCH MORE! We walked the easy trail through the Mistico jungle park while spotting tons of wildlife up close (including a family of coatis). Not to be missed and if I had one choice for a nature park in La Fortuna, this would definitely be it!

We were gifted with repeated wonderful birding experiences. Particularly memorable was watching a toucan feeding on a a just caught anole, flocks of screeching parrots, and two tribes of spider monkeys rumbling in the canopy. Our guide was ver knowledgeable, and efficient, quickly setting up his spotting scope and helping us take pics with our cell phone camera thru his scope. Imho, the hanging bridges are an experience to not miss!
