This tour was amazing! Our guide, Nelvin was SO knowledgeable and patient with our kids. He knew so much and shared so much information about Costa Rica and everything. He kept my 80 year old father and our 8 year old kids engaged. The hanging bridges were so fun and everyone left with smiles on their faces. The hotel pick-up was easy. And though we didn;t see a sloth in the park, our guides made sure on the way back to the hotel they stopped when they spotted one in the trees. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I went around 3:00 and saw 30 plus spider monkeys. Even a mom with baby. It was an easy hike/walk with one part uphill and bridges felt very secure.

Highly recommend renting strollers if little ones

We went in the afternoon and it happened to be a torrential downpour but we absolutely loved it. Our kids (16, 14, 4, 2) really liked the nature and the bridges. We saw snakes, birds, frogs, spiders, monkeys and cool trees. Last minute we decided to rent strollers instead of having our 4 year old walk and carry our 2 year old and it was a game changer.

Brilliant! An incredibly knowledgeable and interesting guide to explain all the jungle ecology. The bridges were fantastic I loved seeing a giant fern from above.

Bad guide plus Viator add on fees = poor experience!

Our guide was not trying to look for monkeys. frogs, birds. One of the guests on the tour spotted the monkey. One guide ahead of us spotted and found the frog - turns out our guide forgot to bring his laser pointer, so he had to borrow the other guide's pointer. Then another guest from another tour spotted the birds. Our guide was just going through the motions to get to the end of the tour. He knew he was bad because he did not ask us for feedback. His contribution to the tour was zero. Lastly, we found out we were paying twice the amount of all other guests on the tour that were also picked by the same vehicle after we were picked. Our guide called his office and told us that the Viator charge is 100% additional amount added to the of the regular fee that his company charges others- really? That explains why we were paying twice the number of what others were paying. I think you should reimburse part of your fees to us because this was not the Viator experience we have previously had in the tours by Viator in Europe. We plan to write to the Viator HQ about our disappointments unless you can resolve this for us.

Highly recommend, our guide Nelvin was amazing! So patient and friendly and just an incredibly knowledgeable guide. Took the time to patiently answer everyone’s questions in both English and Spanish. Couldn’t recommend the tour with guide more! Really made the day incredibly memorable.

Had a wonderful time on this adventure! Nelvin was our guide and the wealth of knowledge was amazing. He was great at finding wildlife and taking pictures for you. Shuttle arrived on time and the driver, Herman, was safe and really friendly!
