Had an incredible time on the tour. Our guide was super friendly and helpful throughout the tour and he offered tons of great information. our group was a perfect size. The views of the forest and all the animals we saw were amazing. cannot recommend enough.

Superb tour. Experience the full effects of the rain forest and see the enormity of the forest from the tree tops. Get the guide to take pics thou his spotting scope ! remember to bring wet weather gear , it’s going to be wet ! Thanks Danny for a beautiful morning.

This is a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and excellent at picking out different flora and fauna that we would never have seen on our own. The path is quite steep in some places but he set a very good pace that accommodated a variety of physical abilities. The hanging bridges are amazing and well worth seeing. We were picked up in a very clean van with great air conditioning.

Beautiful views on these bridges, and our guide Manuel spotted so many animals for us on the way! He brought his scope and we saw toucans, bats, and even a viper. The bridges are beautiful and the views incredible, highly recommend.

The tour was okay, but the park was super busy around Christmas (the irony of being a tourist in a touristic place, I know) and we were a group of around 24 people so not everyone could hear the tour guide properly. I wouldn’t go again with such a big group. The bridges were cool but on busy days it can be quite difficult to see animals.
I think on more quiet days with a smaller group it can be fun!

Group was far too large (20 people). We couldn’t hear anything guide said unless we were right next to him.

What a wonderful walk! Mario picked us up promptly and it was my husband/me, one man and one other woman. It rained a tiny bit before we started but thankfully had gorgeous weather for remainder of walk. Mario was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife/plants/history of Costa Rica. He knew when to stop and bust out the fancy telescope. I will say this is definitely a moderate hike. We were all dripping in sweat! Lots of inclines/declines. My Apple Watch logged around 6,000 steps when it was all done. We saw a sloth, monkey, toucan, blue jean frog and other fun creatures. I highly recommend this tour!! Thanks Mario

Personally, I found the tour quite dull. If you've already walked on suspension bridges elsewhere, this felt like a waste of time. The guide was superficial, and everything seemed overly staged. Additionally, he spent more time talking about trees than animals—perhaps because spotting animals is actually quite difficult. We only saw a frog, a couple of birds, a pair of fighting monkeys, and a single sloth high up in the trees, making it hard to get a good view.
We visited during the low season, yet there were still far too many people on the trails. I can't imagine how crowded it must be during peak season. Overall, it wasn't a very satisfying experience.

Monica was simply outstanding. She was so informative and gracious with her knowledge. Additionally, she went above and beyond and stopped on the side of the road when the tour was over to show us a sloth! We saw so much wildlife in the park too!! We even saw an anteater which is rare!!!

This was a great tour from start to finish. Mario picked us up on time and was our guide through the forest. He was very knowledgeable and could find the tiniest creatures. We saw red frogs, monkeys, coatis, snakes and more. The walk was beautiful and the.views were awesome. It was a fun trip and well worth it.

Our guide was absolutely amazing! Very patient and helpful! We saw so many animals and really experienced the forest! We saw so many things we wouldn't have noticed on our own and a guide is absolutely worth the cost!!!

We had an amazing time. Our guide stopped to show us lots of animals (birds, frogs and snakes) using his telescope so everyone could get an a good view. It rained on and off but the canopy kept most of the rain off of us. I highly recommend using a guide. We would have missed most of the animals we saw if it weren’t for our guide.

The tour was wonderful. The guide was very knowledge, polite and enthusiastic. The only complaint I had was we were the 1st people picked up and the last to be dropped off. We spent an extra 30 minutes on the bus.

Mario picked us up from our hotel, and we only had another couple with us for the morning, which was great. He was hilarious and very charismatic, and genuinely loved his job. Found out he was a former Olympic kayak athlete too! He pointed out so many animals for us, and took amazing pictures with our phones using his telescope. He also gave great recommendations for other places to check out in La Fortuna, including Paradise Hot Springs, and which tourist spots to avoid. Mistico was one of our fave excursions on our week-long trip in CR, and would highly recommend getting a tour guide! The small snakes, frogs, tarantulas 😬, birds, etc are so hard to spot if you don’t know what you’re looking for! Also, recommend doing an early tour to avoid overcrowding at the park. Pura vida!!!

We had a great tour of the rainforest on the Místico hanging bridges. I enjoyed the walk and the views from the bridges. Some of the six suspension bridges are high and sway a bit, which was fine with me but not ideal for my partner. While the walk has no stairs, it’s not flat: there is an incline up to some of the bridges and then back down again.
Our guide, Roy, was very nice and good about pointing out the birds and animals he could see. It was pretty hard to capture anything with an iPhone camera, but he used his camera to take beautiful photos he then shared through WhatsApp. We were able to sign up for just this destination. Everyone else on our tour continued on to other places.

Beautiful setting. Even in rain. Hanging bridges fun and exciting. Tour guides friendly but seemed rushed and at time talked more with each other than group. Slit group into 2 which was nice to have smaller groups

Lush beauty like being in Jurassic Park! The views from the hanging bridges are stunning and the bridge experience in itself was fun. Excellent guide who pointed out vipers, a tarantula, birds, and a hummingbird as well as various flora. Despite the pouring rain, we had a great two hours in the park!

Kenia was a fantastic guide. She showed us a very large variety of animals including monkeys and birds and we even saw a toucan, if from very far away. Timely in pickup and nice in dropoff. The bridges themselves felt very secure, with steel support, even if they swayed a little.

Excellent tour. Highly recommend to do with a guide, otherwise you will probably miss spotting any wildlife. Our guide did expert tour pointing out viper snakes and the extremely elusive anteater. Did not know they are tree climbers. Learned so many things about the “circle of life” that is the Costa Rican rainforest. Very educational and the guide’s pride in Costa Rica was evident.
