This was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She even took the time to answer some questions after the tour was finished.
The only issue I had was the size of the group. We had 20 people and honestly it was a bit too large. But, it wasn’t enough for me to downgrade the rating.
The guide was prompt and on time. The headsets worked flawlessly. The sound was very good.
I’m very comfortable in recommending this tour to anyone interested.

Good muesum but time in there is limited - great guide who was very interesting - would have liked a bit more reading time but museum rules meant this was not possible.

Very well organised, great tour guide. Well worth a visit. We took our 2 teenagers who also thought it was great.

Good choice, and a good guide. However, my tour started at 10:30am, and a guide was outside with a sign showing a tour start time of 10:15am, so I didn't think it was my tour. When no one showed up for a 10:30am tour by 10:27am, I went inside and quickly caught up with my group.
There was some information about Schindler, as well as about Poland and the Nazis, and their persecution of the Jews.

There were slightly too many people on the tour walking through sometimes confined areas and often waiting for the other tour group in front to finish
Laura_M, Apr 2025
A good trip, however there is lots of walking involved, as expected. There is a lot to see and listen too but it seemed quite rushed. The trip is a little boring but it’s a must if you visit krakow and especially if you have watched the film m

Very well presented experience showing life in Krakow just and during the war. A few different perspectives. Must see I think.

Guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and spoke good English. Worth a visit. You definitely need a guide to understand how life was for these people

Booked this last minute as I didn't know if I would get be able to turn up and get a ticket on the door (you can in off peak times)
Would really recommend the tour, so much extra information than what is shared on the information at the museum, tour guide was very clear and informative

It was an excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. The interactive elements were good and the layout was very thoughtfully done.

Disappointed.... it's really a WW2 museum in Schlinders building... very little artifacts on the Pot Factory or Oskar..
bought tickets online... very unorganized to get your ticket, nobody knew where to or who to see in the crowd....not well organized when you see how many people...

Was very educational about all of Poland and the Jewish communities n what they went through ww11 I’d watched the film but seeing it in real life was such an experience would high recommend to anyone who wants to visit
Gretchen_S, Oct 2024
The tour guide was easy to find and on time. She was knowledgeable. The tour felt rushed though and we didn’t get to see and read/interact with the exhibit.

Great insight into the war from start to finish and how one person stood up to the Nazi's. While the actual tour does not centre on Oscar and his contribution it does give great insight into what people had to put up with during this dark period. The live props, pictures and uniforms etc were very appropriate and the guide had great knowledge as we worked through the tour.

This was an excellent tour although we were told by our guide that the tour was not primarily about Arthur Schindler. Rather, the tour begins chronologically prior to the start of WWII and ends after liberation. Lots of historical artifacts in the museum and we learned a lot about not only what happened to the Jewish people in Poland at that time but all Polish people. We were left with a much better understanding of Poland and her people by the end of the tour. Would highly recommend.

If you'd seen the film which was quite moving, this visit to the actual factory is a must. Excellent guide will take you all around the factory museum and explain facts about Oscar swindler that maybe you don't know.
Great guide, great musem, well worth the entry fee.

We enjoyed the tour, very much. The only point I would make was there was no one from the factory outside advising people where to go, where to wait or what to do. There was a line of people, no one knew if they should wait in the line or not. It was boiling hot, no shade at all. A covered area outside would of helped, and a representative just as an advisor that could come in and out of the meeting areas inside to answer questions. But a brilliant tour and a fantastic experience.

This trip brought to life everything we had learned previously .The tour guide was extremely good ,informative and knowledgeable
Kristine_K, Sep 2024
Very informative tour. What you are really touring is a museum as the factory itself was moved to the Czech Republic towards the end of WW2. The factory structure still exists but it's now an art museum, in which you would have to pay a fee to enter. I don't think that's necessary are the tour was informative enough. Our guide was excellent.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
This is a MUST DO TOUR.
Our guide was like a history professor and created a narrative of historical events that drew us into the timeline and tragic events which unfolded.
I will never forget this tour.
Shala_H, Jul 2024
The museum was a good experience. The tour groups were way too big. There were so many things we didn’t get to look at, photos and displays because they were in such a hurry to get through. The tour guide was good and he was just doing his job. I wouldn’t recommend taking a tour through Viator for this museum.
RADU_M, Jun 2024
Our guide Helen, was the best! 💐 She was part of the whole story. A remarkable, prepared and sensitive woman. The location of the factory, everything that was created for tourists, take us to the world of pain, in a time when the Jewish man had nothing.
Angus_M, May 2024
Life of Jews in Poland during World War Two. There needed to be more on Schlinder himself and his ability to protect the Jews.
Roger_S, May 2024
We had changed the start time of our tour, and this was confirmed by Viator; but Viator did not notify the local operators. We showed up 15 min early. The local guide company initially refused admission to our group of 8, but finally allowed us to join their fully subscribed group. So we joined the group 20 min late, and the group was now too large for the small rooms of the museum.
The tour was well done, but the group size was simply too large.
This was Viator’s error, so we would request a partial refund.

Hearing about Under The Eagle pharmacy.
The factory trip was a bit rushed and although it was an English tour booked, the guides English was 'broken' and difficult to understand at times.
Gaynor_W, May 2024
Excellent tour, very organised, and we were able to skip the enormous queue , would highly recommend 👍
ElvaDogg_B, May 2024
We came with the mind set on Shindlers story. But it was mainly a museum about the history of poland from their independance to the second world war. A very small part was about shindler. Interesting tho.

A tour that really adds to the history of Krakow and Poland. Barbara, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was a great tour!
