    A Fun Day of History

    Helen_C, Jun 2025
We had a great day with our tour guide Joanna. She was a fountain of knowledge of the history of Poland. We learned so much from her which gave us a much greater appreciation of the many important historic sites we visited in Krakow. I would highly recommend this tour as early on as possible when visiting Krakow. You will be delighted!

    Must do when in Kraków

This is a must do when visiting Kraków. Anna and Tom picked us up very friendly very professional easy to talk to. Took us on an extensive journey through the history of Kraków. We visited the Jewish quarter synagogues Jewish cemetery, we went to the Jewish ghetto, Schindler‘s factory and amazing, and it would not have been the same without Anna. Her knowledge was so extensive. We went to the castle churches the main square. Such an enjoyable day I feel we saw the best of Kraków.

    Perfect trip

We were very lucky to have Susanna taking us through Krakow . She brought history to life with additional colour and stories especially as we were touring Schindler’s factory. This was one of our favourite tours !

Excellent communication. Rafa was very responsive and kept us informed. Tamer, our driver was superb. Joana our guide was the best. What’s great team.

Our guide was great! He was very flexible. We had four very tired children with us and he made adjustments as we went based on our feedback. We saw so many interesting sites and learned so much about the history of Krakow.

We had such a great experience w our city tour of Krakow. We had a limited time in Krakow and wanted to make the most of our time. Joanna, our tour guide, was FANTASTIC! She was so knowledgable in telling us about Krakow, the Jewish sites, Schindler Factory and so much more. It was really one of the best tours we've ever been on. Not.only was she so k knowledgable, she was nice , funny and respectful of observing the Jewish customs when we visited the cemetary or synogogue. Overall, i highly recommend this tour

Walking Tour of Krakow with Joanna

We started with a tour of Schindler's Factory Museum and worked our way thru the Jewish section, to the Castle, Cathedral and ended in the city square. Joanna was absolutely outstanding. She did a wonderful job.

Best way to discover a city

Best way to know Krakow We had Joanna as a guide . Very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to tell all about the city. We learned a lot about kings and WW2 wth the Jewish ghetto, she told us all about the Schindler factory and we visited the museum, very impressive and interesting. Joanna told us the main topics very fluently and created a dialogue between us , the visitors, and her, the guide. In short : I highly recommend her as a guide , and I will close viator , definitely for my next visit in Europe

This is was a really extensive tour which covered all the main sights and places to visit in Krakow enhanced by a very knowledgable and friendly guide who was happy to customise our tour and actually spent more time with us than the tour advertised. We took the tour on the first day of the 4 days we spent in Krakow and we are glad we did because we then knew what to go back to, what else we could do and secured some excellent local recommendations about where to eat. It is quite a long day with lots of walking interspersed with a mini-van drive out to the factory sight which also takes in a tour of the outer city.

This tour is worth doing while in Krakow. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Krakow. Covered a lot of ground on tour. Our guide was just a little less personable. But a great tour.

Excellent way to get to grips with polish history as you get your bearings in Krakow. Janina was a first class guide with extensive knowledge which she delivered in perfect English. She paced the day well with a coffee break in the Jewish quarter. Would definitely recommend this trip.

We were a group of adults, and we liked the private aspect of the tour. We were able to move at our pace, lingering in some spots, moving faster in others. With only four people there were no issues with hearing our guide, and we didn't feel bad asking lots of questions. Our guide was wonderful - a wealth of knowledge. This tour makes it possibles to see all of the major highlights In need a few hours. Highly recommend it.

We had Janine, a very passionate and knowledgeable Pole to be our guide. She was terrific, showed us all the sites and passed on so much information. It was always interesting and the stories that she shared were insightful and some amusing. I hope that I can remember a lot of it to share with others. This tour has inspired us to find out a lot more about the history of Poland and to consider visiting other regions. Although it is 5.5hrs, it goes very quickly and there are times to have a break such as during the transfer by car to Schindler's factory and at lunch.

Excellent tour. Our guide Eva first took us to the Schindler factory museum where we had a tour with Kuba? aka Jimmy. He was absolutely superb and so knowledgeable. The museum itself was extremely well laid out and Kuba presented a fascinating commentary about life, history and events in Krakow during the German occupation. Not to be missed. Eva then spent the rest of the walking tour with us. Again, she was an excellent guide, very passionate about Krakow and its history and we felt we learned a huge amount about this beautiful city. We covered quite a lot of ground in the older city quarters. A fascinating experience.

For those with a limited amount of time in Krakow I would highly recommend the Private Walking Tour. Our guide was exceptional and provided us with a unique and knowledgeable insight into the history of the city. Highlights of the tour included the Jewish Quarter, the Jewish ghetto, Schindlers Factory and the Castle. There are plenty of opportunities for breaks along the way.
