Alhambra tickets are limited and sometimes, they just may not be available for very concrete reasons. We do have a success rate of over 99% in obtaining them for our customers due to our full dedication and long experience. Please rest assured because this happens very rarely and you are in good hands. The above information is just to inform you about how the Alhambra's ticket sales system operates and all the travel agents proceed in the same way.

Highly recommend a tour to get a deeper appreciation of sights - Juan was prompt, got us set up with tickets and headsets efficiently, and then kept a perfect pace and level of commentary including basic info and adding interesting facts. The itinerary was well planned and included a short 10 min break halfway thru. Meeting at 9:30 meant getting through many sights and enjoying photos wo many other visitors, and before foot traffic became overwhelming. Small group meant we were a bit more nimble and relaxed. Audio headsets worked perfectly. Afterward we could stay and explore for as long as we wanted; we also stopped at the parador for a nice coffee on the terrace.

We had a 3 pm tour booked. On the day of the tour we received a phone call at 10 am asking if we were coming to the tour, the 10 am tour. we We said "no" we're booked for 3 pm. Luckily we had the paperwork with a confirmation number that said we were booked for 3 pm. They checked and yes, we were right. Apparently they were overbooked and couldn't take us at 3 pm. We were offered a refund ( which we haven't received yet) and free tickets to tour on our own. We walked around overwhelmed and confused about what we were seeing. The lines were very long and after about half an hour left without seeing much. We had booked this tour to avoid that. Very dissappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are very sorry for what happened. As we discussed over the phone, we had noted the visit at 10:00 a.m., and when speaking with you, we did not realize that your visit was scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
The 3:00 p.m. visit was not confirmed because, as you can read in our purchase policy, the visit is only confirmed with a minimum number of participants. Since this minimum was not met, it was moved to 10:00 a.m., unfortunately at a time when you could not arrive.
For this reason, we left the tickets at the meeting point so that you could at least visit the Alhambra on your own.
Regarding the refund, you will need to arrange it with Viator, as you made the booking through them, and the refund request must be submitted to them.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Our tour guide, Ester, was very knowledgeable and very considerate of the four people on our tour. We would definitely recommend this small group tour as it took three hours to cover the extensive grounds of the Alhambra!!

My small group tour was cancelled less than 24 hours before and I was put into a large tour at 9:30am. I am due a refund and have yet to hear from Viator about this. The large group tour was like $35pp and I paid $114.

YOUR TOUR WAS NOT CANCELLED ANYTIME. We phoned you the day before around 12 times to inform you that there were not enough travellers in english in the tour at 10.00h. We offered you to join another group at 9.30H. Also, I told you that new one was a bigger group. Anyway, you accepted the new alternative. I met with you at 9.20h and I went with you to the new group. Before leaving I told you that we will refund you the difference between the price of the small group and the big group. But, I am still waiting your call to do the refund but I see that you prefered to write a false opinion on Tripadvisor.
You had a ticket, you had an official guide in english and you took the Alhambra tour for 3 hours.

Our guide to The Alhambra was Juan. Not only is it a very special place but Juan’s knowledge and passion for it is fantastic. It was a 3 hour guided tour and he kept our attention for the whole time, sharing its amazing history, stories and facts. He was also a pretty good photographer and knew exactly where we should stand for the best photos! He was the best guide we’ve ever had. I would highly recommend the tour and especially Juan!

What can you say? A tour of the Alhambra includes an unbelievable collection of history, culture, and beauty. The three-hour tour was just about right. The beauty is unbelievable. I suggest comfortable clothing and shoes, and to bring water.

Great tour. The Palaces and gardens are beautiful. Our tour guide was fantastic and we ended having the tour to ourselves. Definitively recommend having a tour guide to see the Alhambra--so much to see that it could easily be overwhelming. This allowed you to see the highlights and learn but also keep moving. Guide also gave some great recommendations of additional spots to hit in Granada.

Best experience during our two week trip to Spain!
We had a small group tour with Jose which ended up being a private tour. Over four hours, we walked the entire site, including Alcazar and the Gardens up to the summer palace.
Jose is an extremely knowledgable and multi-lingual guide who provided deep historical, social, and political insights to the history of the Alhambra. We learned so much which was important for us since we were traveling with our teen and wanted the experience to be educational and fun.
Jose delivered on both and is a joy to spend time with. His friendly thoughtful disposition gave us plenty of time to stroll through the very large site at a nice pace, stopping when needed for photos or questions or to just simply soak in the amazing architecture.
Choosing a semi-private small group tour was worth every penny as we were able to maneuver around larger groups at the three checkpoints.
The highlight of the tour was a less traveled view point where Jose took us to look back at the Alhambra from the summer palace and enjoy the shade and cool breeze.
Truly amazing experience, I would definitely sign up for a private guide with Jose again.

I had a personal tour with Miguel which was truly special. I was expecting more visitors but being alone with my guide was wonderful. We could chat easily and he was patient taking pictures and allowing me to explore things of interest. The place is incredible. One of my most memorable historical sights.

We’d booked a small group tour that turned into a private tour! We lucked out as the tour was wonderful, and our guide, Juan, was super kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! We learned so much about the history and the meaning of the palace, the rooms, the writings in the wall, and the art/design. Manu was our guide, and because others had cancelled we had the privilege of a private tour. Manu was excellent in explaining the history of the Alhambra, in particular its transition through different cultures and religions across the ages. His knowledge was extremely impressive. What an excellent tour! I highly recommend visiting the Alhambra with a tour guide who is familiar with the historical sites and can answer so many questions about the abundant history of the Alhambra. This particular tour was limited to 8 people, which was perfect. After the tour, we were invited to stay to enjoy the grounds on our own. Be ready for plenty of walking, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes! Definitely the highlight during our visit to Granada.
