Our ticket was bought well in advance . Today is our day for the Alhambra and we still haven’t received our ticket . Have attempted to reach out since yesterday with numerous emails and text and WhatsApp . Still no tickets. This is a must see, but maybe not with this Compnay . If we don’t get tickets we are just gonna go and buy directly from the provider instead of going to a third party

Loved the Alhambra, very beautiful piece of history. The booking is more expensive than original pricing from website but it’s great if they are sold out. I received my tickets but it was a little nerve wracking waiting almost a day before to get the tickets. Otherwise everything went fluently. I’m sure they would refund if they couldn’t deliver the tickets but that’s not what most people want when purchasing.

The Alhambra gets booked fast. So book your tickets well in advance. It is huge and takes the day. Be there early well before your entrance time so you can do the gardens before the Palaces. Make sure your camera is fully charged as you will want to a lot of photos and videos. You can take water in. Do not lean on the walls even for a second, or you will be told off.

I booked Alhambra and after payment was taken I was informed that there was no guarantee of a space and would be informed 12-48 hours before the event!
My email bounced back from one of the addresses given and after many more bot chats I got my ticket the evening before!
I would be hesitant to book with Viator again! I paid a lot of money to access this beautiful Palace but the process wasn’t good

Alhambra and Nasrid Palace, was one of the
Most amazing places I have seen. The scale, the Architecture was incredible. Headphones were not included via Viator, we hired these for 8 Euros from another supplier 5 Minutes walk from Alhambra. These were a must.

The experience was fantastic. The Alhambra is breathtaking. We had tickets for the property plus the palace, but no tour. To tour the full property and palace is between 3-4 hours. We did a day trip from Madrid and did not have much time. Upon arrival, we booked a tour (we were there March 11, so visitors were light). If you have limited time, I highly recommend booking a tour guide, we were taken to the highlights of the property, and the guide was able to navigate us through the lines for the palace. With the guide, we hit the highlights of the property in a short period of time.

Great activity. The Alhambra is so beautiful. I am just terribly annoyed that Viator is buying tickets in bulk and selling them on to almost double the officicial price! (No guided tour in the Viator price no audio guide! )So please visit the Alhambra but buy your tickets directly from the Alhambra or other agencies in Granada.

Absolutely awful. Booked a tour of Alhambra in Grenada weeks in advance, had numerous emails from them leading up to it, only to then have them outright lie multiple times that tickets would be sent shortly, then they were having “issues”, then telling us they would be sent morning of, then that day they cancelled it outright. Incredibly unprofessional, dishonest and ultimately ruined the only reason we were in Grenada by failing to do the one thing paid for.
No one should ever use this site. I say this as a global traveler. Of 30+ years

I booked the ticket about a week before and on the day my trip which I was very excited about and I came all the way to Granada for, the tour said this tour is cancelled and refunded back to me. They did that on the same day of my trip, not before. They should have at least let me know days before that there are no ticket left and the tour was canceled on me. I just don’t understand why they still open to sale and they canceled like that. Very bad experience!

I left it too late to buy entry tickets to the Alhambra from official website for a visit over busy new year period. Purchased 2 tickets from Viator. Will admit I was open minded whether 1. Order would be fulfilled given some of the reviews I had read 2. The entry time to the Nasrid Palaces would be convenient given we were travelling on the day from Nerja and the booking process made it very clear the entry time would not be known until tickets with QR code delivered.
The reality was an excellent experience. Multiple emails from Viator ahead of visit. Tickets with QR code delivered from Tour Operator the day before visit with a 1300 hours entry time. Clear instructions from the Tour Operator when tickets delivered - do not forget your ID provided (in our case passport) when you made your order as this is scanned by Palace staff at entry to each phase of your visit; do not miss your timed entry to the Nasrid Palaces.
As for the Alhambra itself, it is very impressive. The timed entry to the Nasrid Palaces enhances the visit by managing numbers at any given time. We found other parts of the Alhambra complex very busy. Access by car and parking is very easy.
A really enjoyable visit and positive buying experience with Viator.

One of my worst experiences, they sent me an email same night as the booking that they don’t have a spot for us anymore, and then I went through the hassle of finding another tour guide and booked it double the price , later on they sent me another message that my spot is available and I should ignore the previous email , and now they didn’t refund me , what a very unreliable unprofessional company would do that , not recommended at all

It is amazing to see that the mosque, built more than 1000 years ago still stands well. It is well maintained and things are nicely organized. Originally it was built by Muslims for their prayers, later part of it was converted to a cathedral and a regular service still happens. It will be really good to allow Muslims to pray in some part of it.

It’s confusing
I had bought the ticket on line
You are I think paying for the palace visit
I didn’t know the palace was the blocky building and walked past it, assuming there was a palace further ahead
When I passed the next show/passport line, instead of pointing to the palace and the palace line, the first annoyed official hurriedly ushered me using language I didn’t understand (I feared I was in real trouble), then passed me on to an annoyed English speaking official “You’re Late!”, who was annoyed and rather then just pointing to the palace and the line, exhibited frustration with my stupidity, used a staccato of English words— very rapidly so I could barely understand— and with a sense of unnecessary URGENCY- (I ended up spending 15-20 minutes standing in the palace line (what urgency?!?)—- and with people staring— i lost my temper at the treatment and spent the next two hours ashamed at myself for losing my temper
It was all so avoidable and it compromised my experience.
Later I saw a very small sign pointing to 2 palaces

The e-ticket arrived a day before by email, the email had clear reminders including the exact entry time of Nasrid Palace, i had all i need to know before the visit. In the day i just went to the Alhambra complex myself and showed my passport and I am in. i would say the whole thing was quite clear and smooth, the bad reviews on this ticket did worry me a bit though. This ticket doesnt include a guide or audio guide, Alhambra is much better with a guide, or you just purchase a good audio guide online

We loved our visit to the Alhambra, the highlight of Granada, especially the amazing Nazrid Palace. We booked this ticket as there were none available for our date on the official website and it is essentially the same ticket - more expensive but worth it to see this amazing place. The timed ticked for Nazrid palace came through just the day before which caused a little anxiety but the company was responsive to our message.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I booked and paid for an Alhambra tour through Viator (operated by Traveltrails), only to be told at 9 pm the night before that it had to be rescheduled. The following day, again at 9 pm, I received an email saying the tour was cancelled altogether because the operator “couldn’t secure tickets.”
I travelled to Granada specifically to visit the Alhambra, so this last-minute cancellation completely undermined my trip. The so-called “customer service” was appalling — the US numbers barely connected, and Viator’s own agent was uninterested, put me on hold, and then the line cut off. I was left stranded with no help and no alternative.
A refund is the bare minimum — it does not begin to cover the lost opportunity, wasted time, or cost of travelling from London to Spain for an experience that was never delivered. Selling “confirmed” tours without securing tickets is deeply misleading and completely unacceptable.
Viator needs to take responsibility for the suppliers it promotes. Until then, I would strongly urge other travellers to avoid this company altogether.

You MUST book early and well in advance. Go to the side near the Palace first and hour or more before your allotted times visit the Towers first and then be in the line for the palace at least 15-20 minutes before you allotted time and give the palace an hour and half to take all in and then walk slowly through the gardens afterwards to the general life part, note if you have your ticket You will also NEED YOUR PASSPORT that you booked with
