Terrible experience: We paid almost $700 for 4 tickets to see the Alhambra Nasrid balance as well as the ground around it. We received a message the night before then I will take its have been altered. We were only allowed to see the open grounds in the Gardens and could not enter the Palace itself. We drove 2 hours in each direction to see the balance ground and we were very disappointed

We visited the beautiful and impressive Alhambra on March 13, 2026. The place itself is magical and really worth a visit. But our guide Carlos, took the visit to another level. Incredibly knowledgeable and well-read with a great ability to convey and make the place even more interesting. Also a master when it comes to taking really good pictures with our Iphone.

They could not get the tickets. We got told at midnight the night before, after we had traveled with the family to Grenada. I'm pretty sure what they do is charge a big premium upfront and then try find secondary market tickets. When they can't get them, you get told at the last minute they have a "technical error". A very disappointing situation when you have come a long way.

Jana was wonderful. In addition to being very communicative ahead of time, she was extremely passionate, knowledgeable, and patient with us as we walked around the Alhambra. I felt glad to have an absolute expert taking us through the Alhambra. I would have loved to speak with her for hours; I can't recommend her enough!

Jana was an amazing guide to the Alhambra. She was fun, knowledgeable and energetic, and we got so much more out of our visit thanks to her. The three hour tour is packed with info without which the huge complex would make far less sense. She makes it fun and fascinating and bonus that we got to skip the lines! Don't visit Granada without seeing this amazing site.

The tour guide Hans was fantastic very knowledgeable. There was a lot of communication data prior to the tour to ensure that I knew the meeting point. The timing and ensured I was comfortable. Having had a very bad experience with one local guide who were super disorganized using the same platform I wouldn’t take this for granted . This agency and tour guide are very professional. The experience was great overall thx to Hana’s passion and her agency passpartours..

After spending +$700, we were notified at midnight the night before our tour that we couldn’t tour the main palace. Then, we were sent to the wrong meeting site the next morning for a partial tour.
After an hour of repeatedly trying to reach someone in the pouring rain and being told to be patient, we were told the guided tour started without us.
We were texted the admission tickets to wander on our own.
And STILL no contact about getting our refund.

Despite the extremely limited availability, we did manage to secure official Alhambra entry tickets for you at the last minute, even if with partial entry. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication regarding the meeting point, the guided portion of the tour did not take place as intended, and you had to continue with a self-guided visit. For this, we sincerely apologize.
To address the situation fairly, we have already processed a 75% refund of the total amount paid. This reflects both the fact that the full guided experience was not delivered and our acknowledgment of the inconvenience you experienced.
We regret that the experience did not meet your expectations and that communication issues added further stress to your day. Please know that this is not the standard we aim to provide, and we appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve the matter.

Do not trust this company - they cancelled our tickets hours before the scheduled start time and while we were sleeping, ruining our vacation. They did nothing to help us out either - saying there was a computer glitch and so they weren’t responsible. I suspect they oversold the tour on purpose and never had our tickets as it is the busy season. Ultimately we paid the price - with a last minute cancellation there were no other tours available and we never got to see the Alhambra. I wish company’s like this one would just be honest and not sell what they can’t deliver on. I should have trusted the bad reviews more.

Unfortunately, Alhambra ticket availability is fully controlled by the official ticket office, and in exceptional cases last-minute technical issues can occur beyond our control.

Stunning place, exquisitely preserved. Lots to see. We certainly recommend. Our guide Paula was pleasant, efficient and well informed.
The venue is well organised but there does seem to be some unpredictability with entrance to the Nadtrid Palaces. We got in fine but others of our tour party were informed a few days before that their tickets were not available. Very frustrating for them.

We enjoyed our Alhambra tour. Paula our guide was very good. However, we are still shocked by the amount of money we needed to pay for a tour consisting of 10 people. Admittedly we had left it late to book. We tried many sites and all were sold out. Eventually we secured 2 tickets with Viator for £353.12p on a group tour. This is vastly more money than any of the sites advertise tickets at. We appreciate that late booking can mean paying a premium but this is a huge hike in price and is not okay.

We bought our tickets a week ahead of time and paid almost 400€ for two people.
They were supposed to email us the day before but when I didn’t get an email by 10pm I email them. To my surprise they said there’d been an issue and they didn't have our tickets. So they put us on a waiting list for a couple of days without any luck so at the end we couldn’t visit the Alhambra in spite of having bought our tickets. Hopefully they’ll refund us, which they sayid they would but I have no trust in them at this point.

This tour was amazing experience for us, the communication with tour operator was easy, we had all information in email or in WhatsApp. Our tour guide Jana was amazing, she was really friendly, she told us many interesting information about Alhambra and she took care about us perfectly. During the tour we visited Generalife, gardens, Alcazaba and beautiful Nasrid palace, we had enough time to enjoy the Alhambra and make nice photos. We were only small group, that was ideal for the visit. We must recommend this tour a lot.

Very disappointing experience. Avoid passepartours at all cost. We booked a visit of the Alhambra & Nasrid Palace in English, ( 200 euros per person) and ended up with a tour in French!! . When I called the company Passepartours the guy simply said, unfazed, oh it s a small mistake, this is high season, this things happen! We don't have enough guides. If you don't want the tour just don't go in. The guide had out ticket...so it was out of the question to lose 200 euros per person. We followed the tour in French:(((
They offered no apology nor any solution for a replacement guide.
Amateurish people at best....
they do not care about you and will not respect their contract. Extremely frustrating and disappointing

The situation arose due to a transcription issue on the booking platform, which was unfortunately identified only at the start of the tour, after your notification. At that point, the only feasible options were to include you in the French-language tour or to offer a full refund, as there was not enough time to arrange a separate guide in English.
Since both your nationality and contact number were French, our team believed that joining a smaller French-speaking group would be a suitable and even more personal alternative compared to a larger English-speaking tour.
We would also like to clarify that your booking was for a small-group experience (maximum 12 participants) — not a private tour, as may have been misunderstood. This information is clearly stated in the product description.
While we understand your frustration, we must also note that during our phone conversation, the tone used toward our staff was unnecessarily harsh. Our team did its best to assist you in good faith and in full accordance with our service policy.
We remain confident that the solution offered was fair and appropriate under the circumstances.

There was an issue with the time to meet our guide. The Viator ‘ticket’ said 9am but the local company said 11.30. We could not contact anyone to check which it was. However having found the local guide Paula at 11.30 she was excellent- knowledgeable and enthusiastic and helpful. Hence the 5 stars.

If you've messed up by not booking way in advance and you are prepared to pay to make sure you get a tour then this is the place.
It all felt a bit dodgy but worked out perfectly for me. My Guide was Paula, she was good and reliable.
I didn't get full details until the night before my visit, then I got a Whatsapp message with full directions to the meeting point. Paula gave us the tickets when we met and got quick access to everything, no queues!
We were a small group, lovely people, a Mum and Daughter from London and a young couple with a little boy in a push chair, he had to be carried a lot of the way so be aware of that. Paula managed everything very well.
I only had one day in Granada and had to catch a train at 18:00 so booked for 12:30. The actual time slot I got was 13:30 but I did the tour and walked to the train station in good time.
The Alhambra is spectacular, I am so happy that I could visit even if it cost me bit more than I was expecting.
If you're a last minute Larry like me and haven't much time and haven't booked way in advance then crack on!

The grandeur and history of Alhambra is fascinating and humbling. I did not have any expectatipns, and I'm glad I didn't. I felt as if I was in another time in history.
