Fantastic wine tastings

The 2 wineries were great. My family of 4 including 2 kids in their teens had a blast. With all of the tastings we were quite buzzed by the end. Emma at Guidi Cellars and Andreas at Poggio Al Laghi were very informative and Andreas kept repouring our glasses. The Poggio tasting included olive and tartufo oil and balsamic tastings on meat and cheese samples. Our driver, Andrea was very informative on the drive as we passed gorgeous scenery. A very enjoyable 5 hours for just my family in the minivan.

Perfect day in Tuscany

We had the perfect experience with Andrea. He was prompt, engaging and informative. He educated us on the Chianti region and the protocols of having wine certified as Chianti wine. We took a stroll through the quaint town of Castellina and enjoyed browsing in the local shops. We had a private wine tasting at Guidi winery and Emma was great. The wine was so delicious we bought a case and some olive oil, too. Our last stop was in Greva where we had a delicious pizza and bought some murano glasses. It was a perfect day in Tuscany.

Incredible experience, exceeded my expectations! This was my third wine tasting experience in Tuscany, I’ve also been on tours in Sonoma and Northern California and this was as good as any I’ve been on. Stefano was wonderful, on time, friendly, knowledgeable and even took us to the Piazzale Michelangelo for sunset at the end of our tour. The stop in Castellina in Chianti was so picturesque and the vineyard we visited for the tasting was beautiful! The wines were delicious and having an owner/family member of the vineyard there to help guide the tasting and tell us the history of the property made it even more memorable. Exactly what I was hoping for, would absolutely do this again!

Great Tour - Worth Every Penny!

This was an amazing tour. Not only were we able to visit a vineyard and enjoy some wine tasting, we were able to visit two nearby towns and enjoy a different part of Tuscany. This tour is worth every penny. Our tour guide Andreas was so great! He was very nice, attentive, and accommodating. He was so helpful with my elderly mother in law and helping us handle her mobility chair.

This tour is a must in Florence! Our guide, Andrea, was the best: on time, very helpful and fluent in English, and gave us a lot of tips too.. The ride was very confortable too; the van in perfect condition with air conditioning. I totally recommend it!
