Just a taxi ride

After experiencing 2 amazing informational, fun private tours in both Rome and Santorini we booked a 3rd for Florence and Pisa during our 10 day cruise. We understood the cost ($775) would be higher because of the traveling distance but based on the positive experiences we had in the other places, we were wiling to pay the price. Well, shame on us for not reading the fine print that this really wasn’t a “tour” and shame on this company for charging this amount. There was no value added information given by the driver, no advice on ticket purchases and the driver just dropped us off at our 2 stops. This was quite simply a $775 taxi ride. We did the math when we returned to the ship and a taxi for the same 3 trips (ship to Pisa, Pisa to Florence, Florence to ship) would have cost us $350. Total scam!
