Great semi-private night tour!

This was a very small group, which was great because it felt like a private tour. Our guide was so nice and informative. We hit the major stops and it was great to get a sense of the major Florence landmarks at night. Very enjoyable and highly recommend!

Giacomo was a fantastic guide. His knowledge and stories of Florence were impeccable. I loved how he pointed out sculptures that even natives of the city may not realize are there. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend to anyone who wants a history of the city. It was also great to do in the tour at night...streets are not busy!

Okay if you only like history. No ghost stories, as advertised.

The guide was really nice and clearly passionate about the history of Florence. However, this definitely wasn't the tour we expected. It was advertised as including ghost stories. That didn't happen. It was a strictly historical tour that mainly revolved around statues and monuments around town. The information was very dry and not particularly interesting or different than what we'd learn by reading the information near the landmarks. We wanted to ditch the tour about 30 minutes into it but didn't want to be rude. Our kids loved the ghost night tour we did in Rome but were utterly bored throughout this one.

Very misleading tour title

The title was very misleading. It was just a regular walking tour of the city, but during the evening hours. If was very factual/historical and the stories were the same you get during any tour and nothing “legendary” or anything out of the ordinary. Our teenage kids were bored after 30 minutes as they expected some interesting tales vs the typical historical tours. While our guide was nice, he spoke very softly and unless you were one of the two people flanking him you couldn’t hear him talk over the background noise. A microphone and ear piece would have helped. Fairly disappointing, but mostly due to the misleading title and description.

Great Way to See Florence

Fun facts, interesting stories and a lovely walk through Florence in the evening. Very knowledgeable guide, full of antidotes about Florence. We walked on both sides of the Arno and I saw areas of Florence that I had never seen before. Placed a coin in the mouth of the pig and had it drop through the grate, making my wish come true. If you aren’t familiar with the pig, this tour is for you.

This tour is great for anyone wanting a nice overview of Florentine history and curiosities that can otherwise be missed in the flurry of tourists and shopping. Our guide, Isabella, was really nice and took us on an interesting trip back in time.

Great introduction to Florence

We went on the tour just hours after arriving in Florence, and it was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the layout of the city and its history. Our guide Ludovica was charming and her English was good, too. Having a nighttime tour was great, not only for seeing this gorgeous city lit up, but also for avoiding the scorching summer daytime heat.

This was a semi-private tour. The guide, Leonardo, custom designs the tour based on the group. Our group was interested in the history of Florence. The guide did an excellent job of mixing history with unique quarks legends of the city why stones or wooden panels are on the walls. He was well versed in the city's history, art and full of energy. He also pointed out areas less visited by tourists. His expertise seems to be Michelangelo. We enjoyed the guide so much that we requested a private tour of the Dome. He did an excellent job!!

Really nice tour. First time in Florence and it was much more crowded than I expected. Our group was just my family which was nice. Our guide tour overload has caused me to forget her name??? was born and raised in Florence. She was very enthusiastic about her home and showed us many very interesting places off the beaten path. Crossing the river into the non-tourist side of Florence was a treat. No crowds and many unique landmarks. 2 hour walking tour was at a leisurely pace. Not a bad way to spend an evening in Florence.

I will say this - the next day we took a bike tour that overlapped some of the sights and to be honest we were told different things about the same sights by the next guide? Not sure which was correct but - two guides with different information? This was our first tour in Florence and it was amazing. Our tour guide was Marco sorry if I misheard or misspelled!, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Apparently no one else had signed up so it ended up being a private tour. We walked all over Florence and got some great, lesser known history of the area. Things we would never have noticed ourselves. It was wonderful, and I will remember many of the stories he told us for a long time to come. I strongly recommend this tour, it is only a couple of hours and provides a great history of the city!
