Stefania was an amazing tour guide, she took us through Market food tasting in Sant' Ambrogio and it was fantastic! My whole family, 6 of us, hands down loved it and would recommend it! This was a great way to kick off the vacation, we got a sense of where to purchase our food for the house we stayed in!

We actually could not find the meeting place and there was no number to call to find out where it was, so we missed it. Very disappointed .

I had communicated with the tour that we may be just a few minutes late due to our transfer from the ship. When we arrived, no one was there so we thought we'd catch up. I called two different numbers and no one ever answered or returned our call. Extremely disappointing.

Our guide Isabelle was fantastic. If you book this walk, get her as your guide, she is the best.

This was a wonderful tour. Linda, our guide, lead us through Florence telling us the history while sampling the local cuisine. She didn't rush us through our tour but leisurely strolled through the streets of Florence. It was obvious that she loves her job and loves sharing her city with people. I highly recommend this tour. It is worth every cent.

This was a fun and informative tour. We went to several markets, tasted a lot of yummy things from chocolate to cheese and meat. We stopped for pastries and coffee or chocolate, which was paid for as part of the tour. Isabella was our guide, and she was helpful and answered our many questions. I would highly recommend this tour.

We took this tour on the first day of our vacation... and what a way to start ! When we met our guide, Isabelle, she informed us us that we were the only 2 people on the tour, what a wonderful surprise... she not only took us to the most amazing food markets, she provided information on culture around the various types of foods and wines. We sampled so many wonderful things ... coffee, pastries, chocolate, cheeses, charcuteries... and more. She even provided us with some great restaurant suggestions! Isabelle was a great guide.... the tour was well worth it ... I would absolutely recommend it ! What a way to start a vacation!

Friendly nice guide who provided the flavors of Florence. His restaurant and food recommendations were great. A nice tour of the everyday people shopping venues-the marketplace and food carts.

We had a wonderful guide -Adriana - and a very nice experience. Her knowledge was great and she wove in her personal experience and insights about Italian food and cooking habits. It was just us on the tour so we had a very personalized experience.

Fabulous way to navigate the San Lorenzo Food market. Lots of tasty treats and the guide was informative and entertaining. We met at the site of the original Florence food markets and took a stroll over to San Lorenzo. It is well worth visiting and this tour made it that much better!

Don't miss this tour. Enjoyed it very much. Linda was our knowledgable and friendly tour guide.
We sampled so many delicatessen that we skipped lunch.

My husband and I spent two weeks in Italy and took many tours. Linda was definitely our favorite guide. Her enthusiasm about the food culture of Florence is contagious! And as we walked around the different markets we tasted enough food to not need lunch. HINT - be sure to just drink your cappuccino in the morning and skip actual breakfast before you go. Linda will have you trying all kinds of local meats and cheeses and pastries.

Thank you Linda! So much fun. The food was great and the gentleman at the meat market was a treasure we will always remember. I also loved hearing about the history of the buildings on this tour, as well as, being away from the crowded touristy streets.

Sorry but we weren't impressed. Maybe we expected more after taking a similar and excellent tour in Milan but this was disappointing. To be taken through a great delicatessen, shown all the delicious foods and then given a bar of chocolate to share wasn't good.
In two hours we had the chocolate, a coffee and small cannoli and some sliced meat at the markets was at the very least underwhelming. I would happily have paid more to get more.
Our guide was ok, maybe it just wasn't our day.

We lucked out and had an almost private tour. Our guide was very good and we learned a lot while being out of the crowds. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful, informative walk with all the tastes and smells of the local food!

Chiara was a terrific guide and we had a very positive tour of Florence in general, and the food scene in particular. The tour had a very personal feeling as it was only me and my husband and two other guests. This was a nice way to get oriented to the city and to start to understand some of the various aspects of Tuscan food and dining.

Our family of five loved this tour!! Kids aged 14, 16, and 18 and everyone of us said it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Tasty, informative, and fun!!

Our Florence market and deli walk will stay in our hearts forever. We sampled local cheeses, meats, pastries, breads and cappuccino at local delis as well as indoor and outdoor markets. We loved our guide, Linda. She is amazing. We learned and saw much more than I expected! Dad, Mom and daughter all LOVED it!

Gemma was fantastic!! She knew all the best places and things to try. I was even inspired to try my first cappuccino!!

Our tour guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We enjoyed the food - especially interested in the last spot with small sandwiches. The market was great and enjoyed going to the grocery store with our guide. So much food!

Linda was our tour guide and we were fortunate to have a private tour on the day we selected, as only our family of four had signed up. We visited a typical market and talked about different kinds of biscotti and chocolate and wine that was available for purchase. We then stopped at a local bakery and had pastries and coffee, while talking about some local customs and also got a lot of good information about local history and architecture along the way. We then visited a local farmer's market, tried some fresh berrie and olives from booths on the outside and went inside to try some polenta, bread, meats and cheeses. The highlight of this tour was the husband and wife that ran one of the shops who were more than happy to provide us with samples of the different types of hams and cheeses and explain the differences to us. It was wonderful to get a real taste of the local food scene. I would defintitely recommend this tour!

We loved this tour, and I would unquestionably recommend it to any one of my friends visiting Florence in the future. Florence can make you feel a little ill at ease as a tourist, like you don't know where to go, what to eat, or even HOW to eat. This tour was like having a personal food guide through the city. It was as if we had an old friend who had lived in Florence for 15 years and said, You're in town? Come on, let me take you around!--but who also happens to be an authority on local food and wine. Our guide's comments brought out the best traits in everything we tried, so we were really able to experience and appreciate what made each thing so special. In addition, she sprinkled fun bits of history in, as well as advice for when we want to try eating similar foods at home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we were thrilled with it.

What a fab tour! Linda our guide was so friendly and personable, hugely knowledgable, and really drew us into the foodie world of beautiful Florence! We truly experienced the local foodie underworld of fresh, quality local produce, and their makers! Yum! Great tips on where to eat, and all were spot on! :-)
