Great experience. Chiara was very knowledgeable about the duomo. This tour was perfect, a guided tour of the cathedral then access on your own to the other attractions. Would recommend the bell tower climb it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Had a great time in Florence thank you!

I ended up having a private tour which was amazing! My guide was so knowledgeable and I enjoyed hearing all about the history of Florence and the Duomo. I ended up feeling faint during the tour (hot day and empty stomach) and she found me a seat and was able to continue the tour. 10/10

Great tour and tour guide; beware that there may still be a line for the "skip the line" tickets

    John_D, Jun 2026
The meetup area was very clear-- an office on a side street very close to the cathedral. Our tour guide was terrific and the tour was great as well. She first walked us through the crypt area, and then went on to the church, fielding as many questions as we asked. The only thing I would caution others about is that you may not actually enter the church at your designated time. we had a 10:00 entrance time, but that's when the church opens, so there was a huge line queued up even for all the "skip the line" ticket holders. We didn't enter the church until probably 11:00, so bear that in mind for any plans you have afterward. To her credit, the tour guide took that time, to give us a deep history of the cathedral, which made the wait go by faster.

We waited in the fast lane for 45 minutes and once we got in the tour was approximately 30 minutes and rushed. Then it was bye and go do the other things yourself. I could have arranged this myself without a tour guide. Was not worth the money. The tour guide was nice though.

Excellent tour of the area in and around the Duomo. We got so much more out of the visit. Great tour guide, and we were provided audio gadgets so we could hear the guide easily even amongst the crowd.

Skip the line worked great and our guide Edwardo/Eddie was excellent. Provided lots of information in the short amount of time for the tour in a humorous way. Very entertaining. We all enjoyed it

    Duomo Florence

    Barbara_P, Apr 2026
This was ok, through no fault of the tour group, but most of the time spent in line. Went in and heard a little about the Duomo, and barely heard about the entire complex. Would have liked to hear more about the Baptistery and the Tower

    Great tour!

Our tour guide Rachel was incredibly knowledgeable while also being kind and approachable with questions. Her background as a university art professor gave her presentation a depth that was truly appreciated.

    Gail_L, Apr 2026
I was writing as our group found the tour misleading, especially with only a short time in Florence.. First we waited for thirty minutes for a skip the line tour which we understood might happen. As a religious person, the tour guide actually took away from my appreciation of the sacredness once inside the cathedral as I heard a lot about murder and corruption. We had to wait until 4:30 to go to the top of of the dome for a noon tour and no one notified us when checking in or upon leaving what our ticket included or about any time constraints. The tour was presented as being a “Duomo Complex Tour” but did not actually include a tour of the dome/duomo. A member of my party even asked about seeing the top of the dome at the end of the tour and the tour guide did not explain it was not included. We spent a good deal of time waiting to get at the top of the dome, to be rejected. We then spent a good deal of time to get up to the tower to be rejected and told to wait until 4:30, when our fixed tour ended at 1:00. It was the last day of our Florence vacation and we felt on a wild goose chase. Please a refund for our troubles would be greatly appreciated as the tour experience was falsely advertised.

    Great tour guide and tour.

    heather_m, Apr 2026
Eduardo was the best tour guide we have had on our trip. Knowledgeable and thoughtful. We booked late and feel lucky we found this tour. Highly recommend with the much faster skip the line and bell tower.

    Great guide

Guide was great! Would have liked to have the guide throughout museum as well. Guide was knowledgeable

Rachel guided us through Dumo well

    Dan_P, Mar 2026
Rachel did a nice job guiding us through the Dumo balancing interesting stories about Florence in the 15-18 century, the Medici family, artwork, etc. Giotto's Bell tower's 400+ steps worth the views

    Great tour

    Scott_B, Mar 2026
Fascinating tour with very knowledgeable and friendly guide, we would highly recommend. We had expected a small group but were the only two on the tour

Guido, our guide is a 5 star

    Ludmila_K, Mar 2026
Very good experience. Easy to get in without queue. Guido was a great guide for us. Recommend Guido, good English, very knowledgeable & interesting to listen to.

    Main Florence to see !

    Jacqueline_M, Jan 2026
The Florence Duomo Complex tour was great since we finally got to this famous landmark. The Baptistery’s mosaics and gates, the inside of Santa Maria del Fiore, and all the Renaissance artwork in the Duomo Museum were all impressive. Learning about Brunelleschi’s dome added some valuable context. Everything about this tour was well organized and helped us get more than we ever would on our own.

    Best experience!

    Viveka_R, Jan 2026
El Duomo is fascinating. Beautiful! Our tour guide (i am almost sure is Eduardo) was amazing. Very knowledgable, nice and fun. He was our favorite of the whole trip.

    Drae_D, Dec 2025
The skip the line was just to wait an hour and a half in a line. Waste of money honestly. We thought we booked just the climb of the dome but this wasn’t that. Do not recommend.

    Thoughtful tour of the Duomo

    WilliamT_F, Oct 2025
Excellent tour of the Duomo. To get the most out of visiting a historical site, it really helps to have a wonderful tour guide. Skipping the line is a great idea if you don’t have much time. The Duomo is fantastic.

    A must do in Florence!

    Lee_S, Oct 2025
We really enjoyed this tour and everything about Florence. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the view from the tower was amazing! It was a tough climb of 414 steps in a tight area, on a hot day, but worth it. I do not recommend the bell tower climb for very young kids or anyone with mobility issues, it gets tighter the higher you go to the point where two people can barely pass each other.

    Bell tower highlight

    Diane_C, Sep 2025
The tour was most informative. While the sanctuary was somewhat underwhelming, the sub level was amazing. We enjoyed the bell tower however it would be improved if ascent and descent were controlled Our guide was fantastic, teaching us lots about the renaissance

This tour was very informative and the cathedral was beautiful and very historically interesting! Our tour guide, Felipe, was knowledgeable and fun.

Great guide, but not worth the price!

    Lauren_M, Aug 2025
Our Guide was really friendly and very knowledgeable! While we learned a lot, I don’t think the cost of this experience was worth the high price. The tour basically includes the Giotto Pass (good for 72 hours) plus a 1 hour guided tour of the Duomo (cathedral) at the selected time. After the tour, you have the option to climb the bell tower and visit the museum and baptistery on your own.

    Waste of money

    Alicia_M, Aug 2025
Booked for 12noon was expecting to go up bell tower as it was included in the package. The queue for duamo was a . 2 hour wait so certainly not queue jump. Bell tower ticket was for 2.30 and they would not admit before that time overall a complete waste of time and money as no queue jump or bell tower. Host offered a tour of the museum in place of duamo or bell tower and left me waiting in a line for 30minites with tickets that couldn’t be used later that day. Complained to office afterwards who said it’s peak season so the extremely long waits were common. Don’t know why they are seeking queue jump tickets when you have to wait hours.

Very good explanation of the duomo

    Alejandro_S, Jun 2026
The tour was very complete, the guide was very good and knowledgeable about the duomo I highly recommend it It is better to go early to avoid lines and the heat
