Very knowledgeable sommelier tour guide. It was wonderful experience to visit two active wineries in the Tuscan region. Learned about Chianti wine and got to taste as much as we wanted. The visit to Dario’s restaurant and shop was a lot of fun, very good food there also. It was nice to have a small group tour, helped us have a very personal experience. Highly recommend this tour.

I have done many wine tours- most amazing but this topped them! Matteo’s passion and level of expertise is unmatched- I learned so much about how climate soil wine maker are interwoven with culture food and history and create an atmosphere that influences taste and experience. Knowing Dario’s advocacy and life story elevated our meal and quite frankly I was star struck . The van was comfortable and we bonded immediately not only with Mateo who asked us a few questions at the start that were ice breakers for our small group of 5 to connect- clever!!! The vineyards were local small owners not large producers and the cheese also made on site from tending to the sheep to the dairy all so very delicious

The first wine tasting was excellent and our guide, Quentin, was five-star from start to finish. I could not give the whole tour five stars because the lunch at Dario Cecchini's was a disappointment, not because Dario wasn't there. But because we got little to no attention from the wait staff and as a result, I had no idea what I was eating.

Both wineries were extremely welcoming and kind. Our guide, Clemente, was outstanding! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about wine. His joy was infectious as well, we had a wonderful time. The stop at Dario Cecchini was an experience in itself! Truly a great tour, very well organized and efficient.

Although I didn’t get to meet Dario (he was in Sicily!) the visit to the butcher and the meat fest was amazing. Our tour guide was very awesome at his job. The wineries we visited were like out of a Tuscan dream.
