Lake Balaton

The overall experience was fantastic. I will say though that the cruise on the lake was a bit disappointing. There was no commentary so we didn’t know what we were looking at. Once we got to Tihany, the Lavender town it became obvious what we saw. The tour leader was very informative and patient.

Easy meeting point, comfortable mini coach, not too long a drive, lovely commentary, beautiful location. Remember your coins for the toilet stops. Well organised. Nice boat trip, not a lot to see from the boat as the shore line is relatively flat but it was nice and relaxing. The visit to the church and lavender village was lovely too. No hard sale to buy anything. Just a really nice trip!

Although the weather is not so good, I enjoyed the tour very much. Lake balafon is beautiful even though on a rainy/ cloudy day. Our guide Christine is very caring.

Such a beautiful experience! Wonderful little city by the lake. Took a little train ride around the city. Had free time to eat/shop. Took a 1 hour boat ride on the lake followed by a short drive to a close by village know for lavender.

Excursion en français qui finalement ne l’était pas , avec visite de la ville de Balatonfür dans un train touristique entièrement en hongrois. La croisière en bateau était cependant appréciable ainsi que la visite de la presqu’île de Tihany , même si elle n’à rien d’incroyable.
