Suzy was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge about Budapest, Hungary and the Magyars. She was a wonderful guide for our family as she took us through the city using the metro, buses, and the underground. We saw so much and learned a lot about the history of this beautiful place and the culture. We stopped in churches, took pictures and she helped pick out some restaurants for later in the trip. She was a wonderful tour guide. I’d highly recommend using her services.

Thank you so so much for your feedback. :) It feels truly wonderful to be appreciated! Happy to meet you, hoping a return of it. Happy New Year to your whole family! Suzy

It was very hot. Our guide was determined to tell us as much history as possible which involved a lot of standing around, sometimes in the sun. We were 5 persons aged late 60s, early 70s. We found out later from other guides or from google that not all she told us was true. We actually wanted a sightseeing tour, not a history lesson. We didn’t see that many sights due to the standing around while she talked.

Dear Yvonne,
Thank you for your feedback. I will look into myself and try to understand why I have never in my 15 years tour guiding full-time career have received not even such a bad review but always given 5/star reviews. Will definitely think about it all. Regarding Google, please send me where I went wrong. Thank you for your help. Kind Regards, Suzy Szoke

Suzy was an amazing tour guide. She customized the tour for what we wanted. We hit all of the major sites and she told us others we should see. And we learned so much about the country’s history. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our Budapest trip with Suzy tremendously! She has a wealth of historical facts and humorous perspective giving us things to ponder and research further. We hopped on and off trams and buses that allowed us to venture Buda and Pest with ease. We enjoyed our introduction to Budapest landmarks and architectural treasure as well as sumptuous pastry delights. We highly recommend this tour with Suzy!

The walking tour was the perfect orientation to Budapest and made the rest of our trip so much more productive. The tour was well designed, content was broad, and our guide Bogata had an in-depth knowledge of the topics. She was able to handle any question with ease...including some off topic. We learned so much. We found that four hours flew by, always the sign of an excellent tour. When we are back in Budapest, we will certainly look for more offerings by this tour company.

It is difficult to imagine a better introduction to this fine city! Bogata was informative, helpful and friendly and spoke fluent English. The tour was well paced and well planned, and can be infinitely adjusted to fit in with your interests. It includes a useful, confidence-building introduction to the public transportation system, as well as an excellent coffee break. Don't chat for too long, or you'll end up running out of time for the rest of the sightseeing - rather as we did, but Bogata put us on the right bus and made sure we knew where to go in Buda. Not obviously the cheapest option, but worth the money for a private tour. Recommended!

An excellent guided walk of classical Budapest led by a passionate and knowledgeable local. Bogata met us at our apartment and quickly established a rapport with each of us. Her friendly, sunny outlook was engaging as she took us from site to site by foot, metro and tram. Her insight of her country was enlightening and give us an understanding of her country that could never be fulfilled by guide books. Her command of English is excellent and her ability to ascertain our interests quickly enabled her to pace and flexibly shape the tour to our liking. This was a memorable day enjoyed by all.

This was a great tour! Suzi, my guide, could not have been better. The tour can be customized according to whatever the individual or small group going on the tour would like to see. The price is certainly right. I learned so much about Budapest, went to beautiful sites on both sides of the river. I was both picked up and dropped off at my hotel, which was great for a first day. I would very highly recommend this tour.
