Kind of a waste. Walked around downtown. The boat ride and seeing the city lights was wonderful the rest was a waste of time

Excellent tour and very lovely at night. The city is so beautifully lit up! It is a long walk but the pace is slow enough. Our guide Petra was excellent! So knowledgeable and great personality. The river tour was good but not great. The recording didn’t coordinate well with where we were on the river. Still pretty.
Terrific time shopping and cooking with Kinga and Berti our guides. We had a wonderful electic group of participants in this cooking class which made the experience even more fun. What a delightful and delicious experience! Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a relaxed approach to food and wine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-hour night walking tour with Lujz. The city is incredible at night! Lujz was so knowledgeable and a delight! The icing on the cake was the boat ride and seeing the city from the river at night! ENCHANTING! Would highly recommend this tour!
The sights were wonderful and educational. However, our tour guide almost lost our group walking so fast through the crowded river walk portion. And directions back to where we started were limited.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to get this as a private tour. Having a senior moment, I forgot our tour guide's name, but she did a wonderful job introducing us to the lovely city of Budapest, educated us on the history, the culture, the people, the food...it was wonderful! We really only concentrated on one section of the city, from the Opera House to the waterfront, but that was plenty to absorb. We finished with a lovely 1 hour boat ride at dark up and down the Danube. Some wonderful night sites on both sides of the river, and it was a perfect way to end our first day. Recommend this tour to all first timers to Budapest.
Nice tour but the river cruise was marred by the fact another cruise boat sailed parallel to us at the same time and pace thus blocking much viewing.

Petra our tour person did a great job. She was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. We was very good to point out the popular sites, and also tell stories about the smaller ones; like Kermit the frog.
a wonderful tour. covering major sights across pest. highly knowledgeable guide who was friendly and attentive. they had rearranged the tour slightly as the river cruise would have coincided with the turn off of lights so ensuring we saw the river sights as well.

After the walk she put us on a super nice cruise with large windows to travel the Danube River.
Tour operator was fantastic. When we cancelled 45 minutes before the tour they thoughtfully asked if we might still want to do the river cruise portion. That met our situational desires perfectly. They took extra effort to get us the vouchers. The cruise itself (provided by a third party) was relaxing with beautiful views. Only the early boarders of this large boat could get unobstructed photos, however.
Our guide was knowledgeable and gave us a sense of Budapest history and culture. The views from the evening cruise on the Danube were marvelous.
Petra was our guide for the Budapest Night Walking Tour with the Danube River Cruise. She did an excellent job of introducing us to the Danube River’s architectural buildings and giving us background stories of the area. Petra was knowledgeable, organized and fun to be with. We were staying at the Corinthia Hotel and we easily walked to our meeting place. The Danube River Cruise was beautiful, a great way to end the tour.
Was an enjoyable tour - could have used more information from the guide and to arrive at the cruise boat a bit earlier so we could have gotten seats outside.

Balint was an excellent guide for the walking tour, a leisurely amble around some key sights and a great way to find out more about the city. It’s all the little things that are added in, which you can’t get from the guide books! We felt we were walking round with a friend, it was so relaxed.

The river cruise is one of the most stunning scenes of a city that you can experience. The narration on the boat could have been better synched, but overall it was worth the money!
Christie was a wonderful tour guide and host of her city. She listened to what I'd already seen and what my interests were to tailor the experience to what would be most captivating to me. She was clearly knowledgeable about the sites and stories behind them as well as tips for what to do/see on my own. Everything was made easy for the boat cruise on the Danube which offered audio tours in many languages. Christie's warmth and professionalism made me feel happy with my choice to use this company. It's well worth the price for this tour.
Great guide on this tour, a language student who lived in the city. She gave us really great information and helped us understand the meanings of many monuments including communist, WWII and Cold War symbolism. I'm making it sound boring but it was really interesting. She was awesome and their office is clean, welcoming, has chairs, drinks and clean bathrooms. I would have loved to have her with me everyday I was there.
She took us right to the boat and helped get the tickets.
My 4 star rating reflects the boat. It had glass on both sides and pictures don't turn out so great and it was kind of weird so I wish I knew that before hand. It was lightly raining but I still went up top with my umbrella to the somewhat narrow seating. It was cold and raining but I still liked it better than the fish tank feeling below.
It was definitely one of the highlights from my trip. The boat cruise was fun...and we got to see the famous Parliament building along the way.
Budapest at night is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The Parliament Building all lit up is gorgeous. Cruising the river and having the guide explain about the buildings and bridges is a great way to experience the city.
A lot of fast paced walking. I am athletic but thought it would be more of a stroll, so didn't dress appropriately. Wear gym clothes and tennies. Sad history but loved learning about it. Was a long line for the boat which was covered and VERY crowded, so opted to just go back to the hotel.
