Best way to start your time in Berlin. Paul was informative and comprehensive. We learned many chronological details that gave us a greater understanding of Berlin’s history. Everything else we experienced afterward, we were able to connect with better. This was our favorite tour in Berlin.

I had a great morning on this tour. It covers alot of interesting places & guide is very informative. Small group & lots time spent explaining about each site in detail.
I would definitely recommend doing this if in Berlin as it covers a lot of historical sites which you would not fully understand without the guide.

Very dense and interesting history lesson on Berlin. I highly recommend this tour for non German speakers to get a ground of the monuments and characters that show the history of Germany Aruel was an amazing guide, 💯 recommended.

Aurel our guide was fantastic and so knowledgeable about Berlin. He was so enthusiastic and made the tour so personal for us. He showed us a complete picture of Berlin over the 3.5 hour walk from the historical site and the history of Berlin right through to the present moment. Aurel knowledge of the buildings from their architectural design and why and what they were made for. Explaining what happened to them over the course of the wars and the decisions on why and how they were rebuilt was so interesting. Aurel walked us through the tour using his personal experience to make sure it an easy to walk using public transport so we didn’t miss a thing about Berlin and its most important and impressive sites. I would absolutely recommend this tour and would book it again but the long one if we had more time in Berlin.

We had an amazing 3.5-hour tour around Berlin with Rhys! He was super friendly, funny, and kept us engaged the whole time. He shared all the key historical info but in a way that was light, entertaining, and easy to follow – either for my dad who understands basic English only. I received a personalized confirmation email the day before the tour with everything I needed: the name of our guide (Cairan), the exact meeting point (with a clickable Google Maps link), and even a local contact number in case of issues. This level of professionalism and care was already a great sign.
Our group was small—just 7 people—which made the experience feel intimate and personal. Cairan, our guide, was phenomenal. He didn’t just share facts—he brought Berlin’s layered history to life. We had a private tour as no one else signed up. Kieran was extremely knowledgeable. He even had pictures of his family traveling to The East Berlin. Definitely a great way to get familiar with Berlin before doing our own thing.

Tour was excellent! The sites were great but it was our guide who really made it amazing. Cairan was so knowledgeable about German history (and world history). And he had us do a couple exercises that really humanized the experience and help us connect with the time. He really took it to the next level. I’d honestly recommend any tour with him.
