Guide, no show. Done a free walking tour that was exceptional. Would not book with Viator again. Would expect a refund.

We waited and noone arrived. No tour. A disaster when you are only in Berlin for a day. No message. No refund. Nothing. And the people who run the place outside which we were supposed to start says this OFTEN happens with viator.

Really imformatie, engaging walking tour with Katia, highly recommend for anyone visiting Berlin for the first time. Katia had really extensive knowledge of Berlin and pace of the tour was great!

Friendly and enthusiastic guide who was clearly a little inexperienced. All sites visited but many key historical and local facts overlooked. At times the group knew more than the guide and answers to questions were patchy.
This was not the usual level of knowledge and story telling we’ve come to enjoy from Viator tours. We will keep doing them!

Do not book 3 of us were there at the meeting point for the scheduled time, waited 30 mins and the guide was a no show. Requested a refund and it was denied!!!

The walk was great, even though the streets were covered with snow and ice the paths were very safe to walk on. Ester our guide was great, her knowledge of Berlin was excellent. Would recommend.

We turned up at the meeting point but the guide didn't. This was very annoying as the meeting point was not somewhere we would have visited and it affected how much we could do on our one day in Berlin. There was also a problem getting a refund. I would advise you to book with a different tour operator - perhaps one that advertises that they never cancel.

Katia (forgot spelling) was so lovely and super knowledgable. She was so generous with her time and had some rwally intricate and leftfield stories that as someome who has decent knowledge already if Berlin and irs history were really value ads for me.

We took the walking tour with Ana and she was fantastic. She was so friendly and welcoming such a pleasure to spend time with and we learned so much about the beautiful city of Berlin. Her knowledge was way beyond expected and her love for the little juicy bits of gossip was infectious she had everyone laughing constantly. Her knowledge of history, architecture and social history gave us a more in depth understanding of Berlin and its history through the ages. Well Done Ana

This tour was fantastic allowing us to see key palaces and key sights of Berlin from the Prussian era right up till today. Our tour guide Katia was brilliant in walking us through key parks and palaces to explore Germany history with great accuracy and detail.
Highly recommend for new arrivals into Berlin looking for a memorable orientation tour.

3 hour quick trip around Berlin. Saw lots of the main sights around the area so was good to get bearings if you’ve recently arrived. Didn’t get to spend long in the areas though (skipped through Checkpoint Charlie in 2 minutes) before moving on to the next area. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but was a very dry delivery so if you’re just into the facts then this might be a great tour. We stopped by Hitler’s bunker and spent more time listening to an alternative guide who was far more entertaining.
This should have been a tour of Berlin but our guide mentioned events in Palestine more than once on the tour which may be important to her but wasn’t relevant to what we had booked.
Overall, an interesting walk around the City but wasn’t the best walking tour we have been on. Very informative guide who delivered facts as if it was a lecture to students.
Overall it was ‘OK’ but not fun.

Miguel was our tour guide and he was amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable with a passion for German history. Miguel curated a well thought out experience and I am glad I went. He created a welcoming group which made it easy socialize with the other participants. Most importantly, he made sure no one was left behind or got lost. He also is phenomenal at taking pictures!

DO NOT PAY THE CHARGE ONLINE. this is a free walking tour and you will be expected to tip regardless (you will also be pressured to tip by the guide). The tour guides also cancel a tour if there’s not enough people - I booked for 10am and it was canceled so had to come back at 12. Tour is very general information - you could easily do an audio tour on your phone for better information.

I showed up at the designated spot, waited for 30 minutes in the cold and none showed up for the tour.
After that, I met a couple which told me that upon communication with the tour operator, the meeting spot had changed, but we received no email or message about it and no directions to catch the tour.
The tour would have been great but incompetent management made it such a waste of time and money...

While the guide himself was extremely enthusiastic and engaging the moment we met him, we were told straight up although it was a free walking tour he would require 20 Euro from each of us UPFRONT to make it worthwhile. Needless to say half the group backed out of the FREE walking tour!!!
