Our tourguide was an immigrant, and that is no problem with us. We just did not like the way he did the story, as he was critical of the govt. As first time travelers to Berlin with adult kids, we were looking forward to listen more about the history.
Although we were caught under strong rains while at the gate, this was no problem as this is part of experiencing local Berlin weather.

Great intro to the Segway - even though I felt very nervous about it, the team made sure I was able to participate and the guide took me under his wing!
Really informative and great fun. A whistle stop tour but great on a hot day!

Seeing the Berlin sights on Segway was a fast and easy way to get everything in. Morgan, our guide, was very good. Had good knowledge and made it fun. The Segway devices were easy to learn and a lot of fun to ride.

I especially liked that Mike (the head guy) recognized that my friend Beth and I would benefit by going separately with Morgan as our guide because we were more experienced and English speaking (rather than German like the 4 others)

Berlin is a great fit for a Segway tour with a guide. It’s flat, there are good bike lanes and traffic isn’t an issues when riding one.
There is a lot to see and Segways cover a lot of ground easily. They take an about 2 mins to get used to and comfortable operating.
Our guide was great at showing us around but could have been a little more dynamic or fun in his explanation of places.
We would happily do this again or recommend it.

Morgan was an outstanding guide. Enjoyed the whole trip. Saw quite a bit of Berlin and we finished with extra time and he took us on a tour of other areas of Berlin not on the tour. Had lots of fun.

Morgan took us (2 couples) on a nice (English speaking) tour around Berlin showing us all the major tourist spots. The weather was nice and Morgan gave us a quick safety orientation. We are in our late 60's and had been on Segway tours in a number of different cities. He checked out our technique and saw we were proficient so we were up and going in 5-10 minutes. Great photo opportunities and good historical tour.

We did not feel safe traveling in the street with cars parked on the street and driving next to us. In one of the overcrowded intersections the wheel of the Segway rubbed a parked taxi. This caused the rider to fall into the street and the taxi driver was irate and insisted we pay him. Our leader who never told us his name, told us we had to pay the taxi driver €120 in cash on the spot. There was more damage to the person riding the Segway than the taxi.

Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for your feedback. Before every tour we are giving customers full training and instructions how to ride Segway and what to avoid. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for drivers mistakes (which was this case). We are operating Segway tours for more than 10 years in Berlin and other countries so safety is our priority. Of course, accidents might occur due to driving mistakes, the same as if you walk or riding a bike or so on but we see no reason why to blame us for that and also for being busy in Berlin... We are very sorry that you had accident but I dont think should be responsible for it while you are operating Segway (after trainning) not us. During training we are making sure all participants are comfortable to ride and we are also asking everyone if they are ready to ride. If someone will tell us that they are not feeling comfortable with Segway, we always offer alternative such as e-scooter or e-bike because for us, safety is our priority while we are doing tours for thousands people each year. We are sorry for your bad experience and we hope next time you choose different transportation for your tour. :(

I was gonna give 1 star but guide was a nice person to be fair so I wanted to give it a chance. Anyway, I booked for a certain day which i know is the only 100% guarantee of no rain. The night before the tour, he contacted me that i need to come 3hours before my booked tour. Apparently I also have another tour booked on that time so I couldnt. I said I can only compromise to come an hour earlier but then he still couldnt meet me half way on that deal, instead we agreed to move the schedule to another day at 10am. Then the night before, he called me and wanted to change the plans the second time, for us to move it another day further but we could no longer compromise that much so he wanted to just move the time instead to an hour later (11am). We then came there at 10:58 but he arrived 11:05 and prepared everything for 15mins. Thats already 20mins lost on our 2hr tour. Sorry but it felt like he wasnt so interested in telling us the stories during the tour. Maybe because there was only 2 of us clients on that day. Then we ended 10mins earlier than the time. Our 120min tour became 90min tour and to top it up, it was raining and freezing cold winds (reason why i didnt book that day). Good points though is guide was very patient despite it was our first time on the hoverboard scooter which was hard to control the first time around. Also the ride itself was a fun experience to do so we enjoyed it. He kept us safe amidst traffic and gave us raincoats as well.

Regarding shortage of the tour, we apologise for it but as our guide inform us, due to bad weather you insist to return to office earlier. Awesome thanks to our super tour guide Morgan! It was only the 2 of us and he showed us the sights. It was super fun zipping along the streets of Berlin on a Segway - heads turn let me tell ya. So much to see and the Segways got us there quickly. We’d recommend this tour absolutely!!

I love how simple the Segways were to operate. It snowed during our tour and that made it magical in Germany. Our guide was excellent - we saw all the highlights and were given the background and story around each landmark. You can’t go wrong with this tour. It ended with a lot of time at the Topography of Terror and we saw more than we would have on foot. It’s also very safe in Berlin with all the bike lanes and riding through the parks and trails. Can’t recommend this enough!

Great overview of Berlin. Segway also gives you the opportunity to see more of Berlin than a walking tour. You can see the stuff you’d like to visit later. Do this tour first, then go to things that interest you.

We originally booked the 2 hour tour but upgraded to the 3 hour tour when we arrived. Our guide Nakshi (I apologize for the mis-spelling) was great! He gave us as much time as we needed when we stopped and was very knowledgeable about the history of Berlin. We had a great time!

To be honest, we did not like the Segway experience in Berlin.
It is not my first time taking a segway trip in Berlin, but this time, we skipped many major attractions (the guide also told us that we should skip Check Point Charlie...).
Why a segway tour guide ride a regular bicycle instead of a segway???
I would look for other operators. We felt that they did not really want to go out of the way to give us a special Berlin experience.

Booked for Sunday morning at 10am. Up early, caught public transport across the city. arrived early, excited with high expectations. No show, contacted tour operator by mobile and email. Got call later in day to say they thought it was the next day. We had original confirmation and reminder from company the day before to say it was indeed Sunday at 10am. Offered to go out that night or next day. Due to other plans this was not possible. We were so disappointed as this was one of the highlights of our weekend in Berlin. Even more disappointed that company gave reason for no show to VIATOR stating that the person was on their way and had accident and this is why no one came for our tour after the explanation they gave us initially.
