A lot of events happen at this location so half if it was closed. Make sure there isn't a festival or event happening on the day you visit as you will pay full price but not access the full area
Response from Host, Feb 2026
We regret that your visit was not satisfactory. Indeed, Poble Espanyol often hosts events that can disrupt the visitor experience; therefore, on our ticket page, we indicate which areas may be restricted on that day.

Great learning experience for children; nothing fabulous for adults. A lot of the shops were not open. A disappointment really
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Thank you for your feedback. We're happy the educational aspects for children were appreciated. We're currently working to enhance the adult visitor experience as well, with more interactive and cultural offerings. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future.

Lovely place to visit. The building from the past are amazing. Don’t go too early as no shops are open. Very quiet to walk through.

We weren't sure what to expect from this venue, but it was a beautiful spot. Interesting architecture, not crowded and fun to explore. We wish more stores had been, but it was still a good way to spend a few hours. Nice open air restaurants for lunch.

Artisans were great. Venue not so much. The gallery is sparse. Food was good but we certainly didn’t need more than an hour at this venue.

Very interesting. There's a lot to see and great variety of shops so that everyone can find something for themselves (for different interests and ages).

Easy to get in with ticket in advance. This time wanted to see the shop and get some souveniors, and food. We were there several years ago Viator set us up with dinner and Flamenco
dancers. There was lots to see this visit. Stores were helpful very colorful and lots of people but
did not feel crowded.

This was a waste of time, and I would recommend that you only book this if you have time to spare. The entire theme of this park is based on types off architecture in spain and I do not believe that this was worthwhile.

I enjoyed exploring this beautiful village with the audio and video guide. There were many nooks and crannies to visit and the photos I look were lovely. The tour took about 1- 1 1/2 hours. My only recommendation would be to offer head phones for guest as well. I felt a little self conscious with my audio and video guide as it played out load and I felt like it may have disrupted other visitor's peace as they had to listen to my english guide while they toured about.

OK but not highly recommended. Worth going and you might find some good thing to buy. Video guide is a heavy Samsung tablet - way too heavy to bring.
DEBASIS D, Aug 2016
Very average place. Only for eating and souvenirs. The internal representation is nice but nothing like how it is advertised. Will not recommend.

Very nice to see the old villages and hear about the history with the optional video guide. very helpful girl at the entrance. easy to get there by at least 3 buses and the metro to the buses.

A little interesting, but the guided audio tour is worthless. Most of the shops where not open and there were relatively few people, probably because it was a Monday and many nearby attractions are closed on that day.

Beautiful assembly of the architecture of the different parts of Spain, realized with a lot of research and meticulousness; everything is well presented, it is pleasant to stroll in the small streets (especially when there are not too many people), the craftsmen are well integrated into the decor and bring an extra touch to the visit. The audio guide is really worth it to enjoy. Do not hesitate to go to the monastery at the end of the village (tranquility assured and superb views of the city).

Esperienza molto carina e insolita!
