Miguel/Uncle Mike was Excellent...and such a great driver!!!
We had Miguel/Uncle Mike and he was amazing! Very funny guy, very informative, and a great driver. Miguel does have to keep things moving in order to get everything in over just a few hours. So, the tour does move quickly but there's so much you get to see in such a short period of time. We opted to just take in the outside of Sagrada Familia with this tour and then went back the next day to do a specific Sagrada Familia guided tour inside, where we also got to experience the towers. This worked perfectly for us, since we had a couple days in Barcelona. Sagrada Familia is just so amazing that we wanted the time to take it all in. Just be sure to let the guide from this tour know that you will not need tickets to the Sagrada Familia during this tour ahead of time.
Montserrat was a delightful guide! She was friendly, patient, and kind as she shared history and local knowledge about the beautiful city of Barcelona. Her love of the area and what she did was evident. She was also safety minded and kept a close watch over us in crowded areas. I like how she used scenic overlooks and landmarks to explain where we were as we moved about the city so we kept our bearings and could navigate the city better on our own later.
The experience was great despite the weather being rainy and foggy. Lorena was a great narrator giving us insight and the history. I recommend the tour. We chose to take train up because some in our group are afraid of heights, so no cable car for us.
Guide was excellent and gave so much background and information. The monestary was so beautiful.
Hiking down the mountain gave us up close views of the overwhelming beauty of the site
The guide was patient if we had questions or wanted pictures. The tour size was also good .
A definite must see while in Barcelona. Jon was a great tour guide. We were very happy to have booked the tour which allowed us to touch the Black Madonna. I would have preferred an all English tour but it was not available when I booked. Definitely wear layers. When we arrived at the Monastery fog covered everything but a little later the fog burned off and we had a beautiful sunny day. It is an amazing place and it is well worth it.
We booked this trip very last minute due to another canceling. The guides were great even though we booked in the wrong language. I'm not sure this specific tour was all that great, would recommend one with more time or a side trip, but can not fault the guide or tour company for that. Ilia and Luca were great.
This tour provides an excellent and diverse set of experiences covering, art, architecture, history and culture. It involves a nice mix of walking within the city center and riding a bus to further siights. Our phenomenal guide, Rod, was engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, attentive and humorous. The pride and love for Barcelona and the Catalonia region shone through in his presentations. Our small group learned lots of interesting facts and details. I highly recommend the tour.
Tour guide was knowledgeable of Barcelona’s rich history and presented an excellent perspective through the eyes of the architects that designed the various features in Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Unfortunately, the rain dampened the experience yet the guide was gracious and attentive.
Our Guide Jorge's knowledge of Gaudi and his work is extensive and his ability to share that knowledge in a meaningful and entertaining way made our Gaudi day extraordinary. That he was able to do this while accommodating two participants with mobility issues places him in the pantheon of exceptional guides and marks this tour as among the best of our stay.
The tour guide was surprised simply terrific. Liliia rearranged her schedule to accommodate ours.
She was charming, informative, easy going and knowledgeable. The tour is a lot of walking but worth it.
Lots of interesting insights and gave ys a good feel for the area
She also provided restaurant and other recommendations for the remainder of our stay.
Excellent tour into the Pyrenees, stunning views & enjoyable visits to the 3 medieval villages via van & a short train ride. Our guide Sergio was very knowledgeable & fun to listen to & he had with him Alex, an assistant, learning about this particular excursion. We really liked the small group aspect & that there was ample free time to walk around, built in. Not recommended for young children but very comfortable for all other ages. We’d do it again.
Tour was great! I loved the garden. It is truly a must see when in Barcelona. One of the best things was being picked up directly from the port (after our cruise) and taken to our hotel after the tour. This eliminated fighting for taxis after disembarking.
The tour showed us lots of great sites, homes, and the garden. It was also just the right length of time too.
