Guide spoke English and did a good job showing us around. We were picked up from the hotel at 8:30am and got back at 6pm. Good information. We saw the places where Game Of Throne scenes were filmed. Over all good experience and value. I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I really enjoyed our full-day tour to Girona, Pals, and Palsfugell with André. Communication with André before the tour was excellent, pick-up at our hotel was prompt, and his SUV was very comfortable. On the drive to Girona, André gave us lots of information about the history of Barcelona and of Catalonia. When we arrived at Girona, we first stopped at a café for cappuccinos, and then started the walking tour of the historical part of the city. André showed us the important sites, and explained the historical importance. He also had video clips from the Game of Thrones, showing the exact spots where scenes from the series were filmed. After Girona, we drove to Pals, where we first had lunch. We enjoyed the lunch special of salad, a seafood rice casserole (like paella), a dessert, and a drink. After lunch, André gave us a walking tour of the charming medieval town. Afterwards, we drove to the seaside town of Palafugell where my husband and I enjoyed free time exploring the beach area. André is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona, of the Catalonia region, of the places we visited, and of the world in general. He also talked to us about contemporary life in Barcelona today and in the towns we visited. It was wonderful to spend the day with such a knowledgeable local resident!

Our guide told us we were only going to Girona and not to Costa Brava even though that’s the tour we booked. Instead of telling us about the area as we drive from Barcelona he spent the whole ride discussing current politics. We tried to redirect the conversation several times unsuccessfully. He dropped us off at a cafe while he parked the car. When he got to the cafe he told us he couldn’t continue the tour because he had car trouble. He walked us around the city for an hour and then left us to find our own way back. Very disappointing and not as advertised.

Once we arrived at Girona I noticed trouble with the engine of my car. I talked with the clients that we risk to stay stuck in the middle of the tour and the clients confirmed to be OK with a 50% refund of the paid price but to take the chance to walk the town of Girona. Clients were convinced MAGA supporters negating the efficiency of vaccines and full of prejudices towards black people and muslims who did not appreciate the local history, culture and mindset. So far, that's their problem and since I didn't want to provoque any further tense debates I stated that I have a progressive mindset and that I see MAGA as a big risk for the world same as Putin or Xi Jinping. However, I'm asking myself why closed-minded people like these travel such a 'socialistic' city like Barcelona when the big challenge of retouching the history of their country is still waiting for them at home. I have paid them a 50% refund on the original price and the fact that they still leave such a disastrous and negative comment only shows their bitterness and malignancy. The good news is that the car is fixed, running as well as never before and that the majority of groups are nice, open-minded and grateful people I would hang out with in my free time.

Sights were great. Guide not. He had a lot of knowledge about everything but has a superior attitude and made us feel inferior at times. Everything was black and white with no grey. It took a few days to shake the experience The day after the we had a tour with different company and guide and driver. After spending a few hours with them and having a completely different experience we discussed some of the events/conversations we had during this tour. The driver and guide were shocked. Which made us feel validated in our feelings. For the rest of our 2 week vacation we had several other tours and they all were enjoyable……thank god

There is a very simple way to prevent negative vibes and unfulfilled expectations: Communication and transparency. The tours I offer are 100% private where all groups of passengers have the option to adjust the experience to their individual needs. Most of my guests take advantage of this option and enjoy the getaway. And if for personal attitude, lack of skills, a different mindset or just no common wave length a customer feels uncomfortable with the chosen tour package, she or he has always the right to let me know during the tour and in an extreme case to ask for a full refund. In democracy we sort out conflicts with words and sometimes with cash, a knife in the back hurts a lot sometimes but only shows that the reviews on this site are real.

Tour was a great experience. Andre was able to modify the itinerary to accommodate my young son. He arrived early and then asked us if we wanted to see the coast or Girona first. Andre is very knowledgeable with loads of guiding experience in the area.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Andre Okada was excellent. We had a wonderful day exploring Girona and Pals. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We ended the day in the beautiful Costa Brava area. Great photos! Great day!
